“A Choice Between Life and Death”

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬ ‭
The choices we make are like the words we say they will either acquit us or condemn us. It’s so important for us to Love each other in the same way that Jesus Loves us. That same love, must forgive the same as well. The Bible says; ““If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭
There are eternal consequences for the choices we make. This is why our relationship with G-d, through His word, is so important. We can never forget that the wages of sin is death, but free gift of G-d is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. The choice is ours and I pray you make the right decision. “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”

“Depend on G-d”

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭
There was a time when I just didn’t get it, I let everything get in my way. Not only was my focus in the wrong place but my heart wasn’t where it was supposed to be. The Bible says; “The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭
The closer I came to G-d, through His Word, the easier it was for me to respond with Love in every situation. Don’t let anything get in the way of what G-d has for you, and if it does let Him remove it. “But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.”

“His Love Never Gives Up”

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭
Sometimes I look at things that pop up in front of me throughout the day and think to myself “really?.” The response is always the same, “Yes really!”. Our struggles we go through are a real part of our walk with Christ, but they are never a good time to give up. The Bible says; “Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭
When the struggles come our way, and believe me they are going to come, they are simply a test of our faith. “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

“Making A Difference”

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Today, one of my goals is to make a difference in everything I do. Too many times we over look the small things that we can do to make a difference in the lives around us. The Bible says; “But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭
There was a time when I thought being holy was being perfect as if you walked on water. But it simply means different, set apart from the ways of the world unto G-d. The evidence of our walk with Christ is a changed behavior, thinking of others more than ourselves, making a difference…“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”

“G-d Is Love”

“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭
The way we Love each other isn’t just the the evidence of who we are in Christ, but it’s also what sets us apart from everyone else. Love isn’t that feeling that we were taught, it’s a choice we must make in every situation no matter how it feels to us. The Bible says; “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬
So many of us have missed the whole point of what G-d has done for us and why. We tend copy the behavior of the worlds loves instead of letting
G-d transform our hearts to love everyone in the same way that He Loves us…Genuine affection is the evidence of the choice we have made to walk with Jesus. “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.”

“The Lord is my Shepherd”

“Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬ ‭
There was a time, back in the world, where I was never satisfied with what I had. I was always searching for more of something and I had no idea what it was. Today I can say that I am satisfied. Satisfied with the relationship I have with Jesus, satisfied with everything He has for me, but I still with all my heart want it to grow stronger every day. The Bible says; “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”

There’s a huge battle of pride, ego, and greed going on in this world today. In every way this world is trying to suck us back into its purpose for us. Jesus wants nothing but for us to live the life we never thought was possible…a satisfied life in Him…“Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.””

“Infinite Value of Knowing Jesus”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭
When I was a gym rat we would train to total body failure. Not just till we thought it was good enough but when we actually couldn’t go on, we exhausted everything we had, letting everything go. It should be the same with our surrendering our lives to G-d. Not holding on to anything, but total surrender and letting go of everything. This should be us putting all we have into gaining Christ. The Bible says; “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭
I can always count on 2 things I hear from G-d, no matter the situation around me, “Trust Me” and “Be Faithful to what I have given you.” I only truly understood what He meant when I totally surrendered all of me to Him…“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.”

“Times Running Out”

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭
I pray that there comes a day, for everyone I know, that the reality of this verse becomes their life. That they open their hearts to the Truth of the very Power of His Love for them, and they let Him show them the Way. The Bible says; “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.””
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭
I see so many people that are desperately searching for something that they won’t ever find. Because they continue to look in all the wrong places the search never ends. They begin to use selfish desires to fill the God-shaped void in their hearts. Listen, your time is running out, it’s later than you think, this could be your last opportunity for the life you didn’t even know you desired…“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.””

“Prepare Your Minds”

““Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭
Im constantly reminding everyone including myself to open your Bibles and read them through the day. It’s itnot just about reading the Word of G-d but you must prepare yourself to listen ever so carefully, to listen to every Word that comes from the mouth of G-d. The Bible says; “But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭
It is so important that we eat the correct foods for our bodies but to many of us neglect our spiritual health that comes from our Bibles. When we eat the right diet it changes the way we look on the outside, but the Word of G-d will transform who we are from the inside. We all want change in our lives but we are not all prepared to listen…“Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.”

“All Praise”

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭
I want everyday to be about giving Praise to G-d, the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, for everything. Everything He has brought me from, through, and to where I am today. So many people want to take credit for things they believe they have earned or deserve, when everything we have as Christians comes from G-d. The Bible says; “For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen.”

Surrendering everything I am to G-d is the only lifestyle I want to have. I have earned nothing I have today or even deserve to be who I am. I give All Praise and Glory to G-d the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ who rescued me from death and gave me life…““You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.””
