Some members from our chapter recently gathered to celebrate and honor Diane Kramek at her going-away dinner. 💜

We have been so fortunate to have this wonderful East Coast transplant become such an involved and valued member of our chapter over the past several years. Diane generously shared her time, talents, and leadership in many ways — especially through her dedicated service on the Nominating Committee.

Diane, thank you for your commitment, friendship, and the positive impact you’ve made on our chapter and members. You will truly be missed, and we wish you all the best in this next chapter! 💐✨

Our ONS chapter participated in another year of advocacy:
HB 220 Prior Authorization
HB271 Breast Examination and Screening Transformation (BEST)
HB8 Biomarker Testing - 24 states have this in place and we are close.
CEs for the participation: 6.5
Does Cincinnati ONS sponsor nurses? Yes. Hotel, gas, a dinner, and parking.
There is Education, Food, Coaching!
Any Ohio nurse can participate next year.
This year we met with the legislative aides because the senators and reps weren’t on site.

We had an amazing program last night learning from Dr. Susan Oakley and a moving presentation from Mitch with the Nightbirde foundation.

Our next event will be May 21 featuring a blood cancer discussion at the capital Grille.
