Jace had his best ever race last night & it wouldn't of been possible without Connors Motorsports ! They took out their motor Wednesday & dropped it off for us to use because Jaces motor is in NC getting fixed & didnt make it back in time. Unbelievably grateful for their support & generosity! Jace was the fastest he has ever been. He had a fire & you could see it! Started feature P2 after qualifying 2nd. Took the lead for a few laps then battled it out the rest of the way. Staying close to the lead car finally & never giving up! He told us he got "jumped scared" & lifted during the race & lost some momentum because of it ( iykyk 🤣) overall, this was hands down the best race we've seen him race this season & its all thanks to our amazing race family, Bryan, Kim & Brady Connors!!!

Nicholas had a great showing last night & best finish this season at Seekonk. He was 11th fastest & started the feature 11th. He avoided an early wreck 2 laps in, giving him the 5th restarting position. Made his way to 4th..eventually dropped back to 5th & stayed there the rest of the race until getting passed on the last lap crossing the finish line with a 6th place position! Super proud of him & all of his determination...a big thank you to Jake Silvia for all of his help with getting Nicholas' car closer to where it needs to be and giving him some coaching advice while crew chief is busy with Jaces bando during race day!

Race day recap: started off pretty nice..Jace was 1st division on track & Nicholas was the 4th division. We didnt have to rush as much as we normally do. Jace qualified 2nd fastest & Nicholas qualified 12th fastest. Then right as the bandits were lined up to go out, mother nature started sprinkling us with her love 🤣 then the switch happened.. pure stocks first out to keep the track dry. Mother nature seemed to have subsided but towards the end of the 1st feature she decided she wasn't finished! Legends were called to start linning up for their feature 😬 We had to hustle, switch incar cameras out & raceciever ( mind u nicks in pits & jace is still lined up) then we decided to have Jace drive back to pits so he could cool off from sitting in his car geared up the whole 1st race & restore some tire pressure & let him watch his brother for some laps. Nick started 12th but had his toe knocked out with some contact with another competitor. Came in pits to get his toe checked & headed back out. He was able to barely make it on track as they went green & leading cars were crusing down the back stretch. Then a car spun out & caution came out so nick got to restart on lead lap! He had a great battle in the back of the pack & finished 11th. Jace started feature P5 due to invert. Had a good, fast race. Made it into 3rd but restarted 4th because it wasnt a completed lap when the caution came out. Battled hard with the top 3 drivers but just couldn't set the 3rd place car up for a clean pass. A strong 4th place finish is where he ended the 15 lap feature keeping him in 3rd and in the running to be apart of the final 4! What a night 😵‍💫 but it was a blast!

Congratulations Landon on your 7th win & Brody on your 2nd place finish along side your big brother! Congratulations Elias on a well deserved 3rd place..you were fast little buddy! 🤗

Friday race recap: the day started off very hetic..crew chief had a dental emergency & needed a tooth extracted..after the numbing meds wore off, the pain & heat made the the crew chief very uncomfortable to say the least. But with moms help in the pits, we made race day work! Jace had a great car all day. Crew chief & driver got the car to stick to the bottom finally! Jace was 2nd fastest in qualifying & started the race p3 out of a 13 car field!! All of the drivers seemed fast & very racey & it was so exciting to watch. Jace went from P3 to P2 to P4 n almost P2 again. Got together a couple of times while racing hard with his buddies. After being caught up in a minor incident on lap 14, Jace noticed his car didnt have alot of power, his steering wheel was now pointed towards the wall & could tell his back body panel was rubbing his left rear tire. He decided to get off to avoid causing further damage & potentially being a hazard to other drivers. He was scored finishing 11th overall. After in the pits, we noticed his filter cover fell off and went through the chain while on track with the contact 😬 well be back & ready again to take another stab at going for the 🏁

It was a hot day at Thompson Speedway! Nicholas had 2 races.. 1st race finished 15 & 2nd race he finished 13th .. car is in one piece.. we werent the fastest but we werent the slowest! 🤗 gotta keep diggin!!
