Getting certified as a relief care provider is one of the most practical, tangible ways we can support a foster family in our community, in our church. It’s how we become part of their village — the kind of village that makes it possible for them to keep doing the hard, beautiful work of caring for kids from hard places.

What a lovely weekend with lovely friends at our 11th annual Connect Retreat! Our foster and adoptive parents have unique journeys but when we share the long road with each other, we have a lot more fun along the way!

This Giving Tuesday, we’re thinking about the families that Greater Grace Adoption Ministry has helped create. The mountain of paperwork that led to this moment. The sleepless nights of worry that gave way to this carefree afternoon. The financial barriers that could have kept them apart, but didn’t—because people gave.
Greater Grace doesn’t just help families afford adoption. We walk alongside them through counseling. Greater Grace strengthens marriages through the Connect Marriage Retreat, because we understand that building a family requires building a strong foundation. We know that adoption is beautiful and complex and expensive and worth every bit of support we can offer.
