Let’s welcome Athletics Mercado 8u Team!
A group of talented hard working and driven athletes. First tournament in the books! We battled our way into the championship game through the heat and back to back games! Well we fell short we are excited to see what this group of talented athletes has to offer this fall season!

Another amazing weekend for our girls! They played 6 games in total this weekend, and despite the freezing weather, they were able to bring home the championship. Instead of highlighting one player I would like to highlight our team stats because these girls were on fire all weekend. They had a team batting average of .554, scored 58 total runs, had an on-base-percentage of .631, our pitchers only gave up 16 hits all weekend, had 41 strikeouts, and we had ZERO errors in the field. Keep it up girls!

What a weekend! After 6 games, we ended up winning the diamond bracket championship! It was amazing to see the energy these girls had and see them bring it onto the field with them. I would like to highlight #24, London Clinkscales, for her performance this weekend. She had a .556 avg, .667 on base percentage, and had 6 RBI’s. Way to go girls!

It’s almost tournament weekend!! This weekend we will be out playing at the Red Oak Sports Complex at 12 and 1:30. Please come out and show your support if you can!!

What a great way to kick off our fall season! Overall, we went 2-3 on the weekend, but these girls battled it out against some pretty solid teams. I would like to shoutout #25, Lilliana Tamayo, for her hitting performance this weekend. She had a .455 batting average and a .500 on base percentage. #5, Addyson Zilligen, had an incredible fielding performance this weekend with no errors on the field and with 10 total putouts. Way to go girls!
