Sometimes, progress means simply showing up and going through the motions. It might not feel perfect, but it’s far better than doing nothing at all.

Society often glorifies the idea that success is built on perfection, but in reality, it’s forged through the daily grind of consistency. True progress comes from showing up, even on the tough days, and putting in the work.

That’s where logging your workouts and daily habits comes in. Writing things down, whether it’s in the gym or your daily routine, creates accountability and builds a clear roadmap for progress. It’s a way to stay consistent, identify trends, and make adjustments as needed, so you’re always moving forward.

The Black Book training journal is designed to help you track your workouts and habits, reinforcing the discipline it takes to turn consistency into success.

Go and grab yours today so you can start off the New Year strong building a foundation of good habits! 💪🏼

Late Birthday appreciation post for my bestie 🫶🏼🎂

We met 1.5 years ago and it’s so crazy how our friendship unfolded. Fun fact, I was first a client of Ariel’s through her massage business. She was helping me prep for my show and afterwards, was helping me through my post show inflammation and chronic pain. After some time, we ended up working out together and became lifting partners and then became friends and soon afterwards, business partners.

Ariel has been my ride or die homeslice when it comes to navigating life with chronic pain. We have been able to bond over this, but also help each other out through the hard times.

Thankful to be able to call Ariel my best friend, lifting buddy, and business partner. She’s also honestly like a big sister to me. I love you bestie! 💕

P.s.- sorry for the late bday post, but you know… 😂🫶🏼
P.s.s. - tell Liam I miss him 😂😂

Reppin’ the swag and grinding out this leg day with the blackbook training journal.🤘🏼

The is more than just a brand and it goes way beyond their blackbook and nutrition journals. It’s a lifestyle.

Honored to be an athlete who lives and breathes this lifestyle.

They are one of the most unique brands I’ve had the pleasure of working with who truly values both their customers, ambassadors and athletes.

Although virtual, both and have blessed me with community and a team who supports me both in the gym and outside of it.

Looking forward to another week to crush our goals and some great collaboration after finals is over, which they’ve been so amazing supporting me through. 💪🏼

Progress update on the cut 😤

9 lbs down in the last 2 months, which I’ve been aiming for about 1 lb per week, so we are a little ahead of schedule. 🎯

My Regimen:👇🏼
🍎 Nutrition:
I’m currently carb cycling and manipulating my macros on rest days. On leg days I’m consuming an extra 30-50 grams of carbs and on my upper body days I’m consuming my normal amount. My fat intake and protein intake stays the same on these days. On my rest days, I am increasing fats and decreasing carbs but keeping my calories the same as my upper body days.

🍔 Cheat Meals:
I’m having anywhere from 2-3 cheat meals a week and usually plan these on leg days or back days 👍🏼

🏃‍♀️ Cardio:
Right now, I am completing 135 minutes of cardio weekly. I started splitting up my cardio by each week instead of daily to help better manage my time and eliminate stress around fitting cardio into a busy schedule.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga & Breathwork 🫁
I also started incorporating yoga 1-2/week which I have been counting towards cardio on my really busy weeks. I’ve also started incorporating 5-10 minutes of breathwork done daily which I’ve noticed has had a huge impact on my HRV in addition to the yoga.

🏋️‍♀️ Lifting:
I am lifting 3-5 days a week and following a Push, Pull, Legs and combined Push/Pull day. If I do lift a 5th day, it’s another leg day but it’s dependent on my recovery and rest.

💤 Sleep:
I am averaging 5-7 hours of sleep on days that I’m working and on my days off from work I’m sleeping anywhere from 8-10 hours.

💊 Supplements:
- Glucose Disposal Agent by with carb heavy meals (the goal here is to manage my blood sugar levels while eating overnight)
- Digest Aid by
- Fish Oil
- Vitamin D
- Turmeric
- Milk Thistle
- Magnesium
- KillSwitch by
- CBD by
- Creatine
- Greens by

It’s been challenging since I started to work the night shift when I started this cut, and my circadian rhythm is definitely working against me. 😂 I am being mindful of hunger cues and monitoring that because we do know leptin and ghrelin levels can become unbalanced in night shift workers especially.👌🏼

Half Marathon? Check. Bucket list item officially crossed off with ! ✅

Truth be told, Amanda and I didn’t exactly train for this. Originally, we were aiming for a 5K, and we were just casually preparing for it. Before today, my longest run had never exceeded 6 miles and I had picked back up on running a few weeks prior to this.

While it might not have been the wisest decision to tackle this without proper training, it was about more than just speed or winning. This race was a test of our determination, proving to ourselves that we’re capable of overcoming challenges and doing hard things.

While it might sound cheesy, if you set your mind to it, you’ll surprise yourself with what you can achieve. Don’t get in your own way, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself from time to time. 👊🏻
