STOP. APOLOGIZING. FOR. SELLING. SOMETHING.
Everyone is a sales person.
Everyone.
I’ll prove it...
- Ever told a friend about a good Netflix series?
- Ever recommended your hair stylist to anyone?
- Ever invited a friend to your favorite coffee shop?
- Ever shared about a book you couldn’t put down?
- What about a restaurant you loved, a new beauty product you‘re using or hair styling tool you can’t do without?
But you likely didn’t earn commission off of those recommendations...and for some of you, that either made you feel more comfortable talking about it or it made you more comfortable trying it.

If you feel weird making money from recommending a product you sincerely love, you’ve got some money drama, honey.

If you feel weird when a friend makes money off of you for recommending a product that could help you or bless you, you too have some money drama, honey.

Money, in and of itself, is neutral.

It’s the “love of money” that is the root of all evil and did you know the meaning of “love” in that passage can be to HOARD money, to ENVY others with more money or to SPEND money excessively — which I’m pretty certain covers ALL of us. 💁🏼‍♀️
Making money is how we put a roof over our heads, keep the lights in our houses on, keep the water running and keep food on our tables.

As long as a career path is LEGAL, why would we ever shame someone for how they make it?
If you love something, SHARE IT!
If you make money off of sharing it, GOOD FOR YOU!
If someone judges your motives for sharing it, IGNORE IT! That’s a “them problem,” not a “you problem.” 😘
