We offer training to relationship coaches, counselors and ministry leaders through Prepare Enrich. Our program was allowed in three public schools.
Bold & Brave (J1.9) Ministries began in 2016, as an after-school program in a small northeast Texas community. We were a group of volunteers made up of parents and community leaders, who had a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our future leaders. We taught the kids to be “bold and brave” in Christ! In 2019, my family and I moved to another city and ended the program. The reason was
because there were not enough volunteers to lead the program. However, I knew that God was not finished with this ministry, so I put it on hold and prayed for wisdom on what He wanted me to do. One year later, I got confirmation on the next chapter in this amazing journey! I am a licensed therapist and I specialize in marriage counseling. After asking the Lord for wisdom, He softly spoke to my spirit one day on my way to work. He was showing me that this ministry should focus on the family unit, mainly the marriage relationship. He started putting all of the pieces together, like only He can do. It made perfect sense, since the “marriage” is the foundation of the family and without Christ as the center of the marriage, it will not fulfill the purpose that it was created for, this was where I shifted my focus. I explain to the couples that I counsel that their marriage is the only ‘spiritual relationship’ that you have with another human being, created by God to carry out His purpose. My hope is that couples (pre-marital & married) will learn about God’s character and how to have a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ through this ministry. Finally, in the Spring of 2021, I formed Bold & Brave Marriage Coaching, LLC. The principles of this coaching program is presented through a specialized curriculum. This information is to educate, encourage and enrich marriages. Our purpose is to provide couples with the tools that they will need to follow God’s design for marriage. This is an online coaching program. We use an assessment tool called Prepare Enrich, this assessment measures the extent of the problems in the relationship and builds on the strengths that couples already have in their relationship. This business is NOT part of my private counseling practice and coaching clients sign forms acknowledging that this is a coaching program and not “therapy.” I assist couples in developing effective strategies in communication and conflict resolution. I utilize coaches to assist me in mentoring couples. I also provide CEU workshops to other therapists/coaches, and organize marriage conferences and weekend intensive retreats.
