I can remember when I stopped believing myself — started side-eyeing my own fresh start promises.

My lips were saying, “this is my week,” but my inner observer was like, “OK, girl. We’ll see.”

What I hadn’t realized yet was that I didn’t need a fresh start or more discipline. I needed a more aligned approach. One that wasn’t just doable but flexible enough to survive both the seasons of the year and the seasons of my life.

It wasn’t until I leaned into that realization that everything changed. What once seemed impossible became normal.

The point is… this can be the LAST time you tell yourself you’re starting fresh tomorrow. But it will take more than a declaration. It will take a shift… a sustainable approach, seasonal flexibility, and support.

At this point in life, all of my fellow sports moms know where to find me during practice. I’m circling the building or lapping the parking lot.

Because here’s the truth…

It’s wild to prioritize movement for my kid, sit still and watch them move while wishing I could find the time to move. 🙃

My biggest hack when life feels too busy to work out?

I turn my waiting time into walking time.

That’s how I stay active even when my calendar is packed and how I avoid the dreaded waiting until January to start again.
