To most this is just a picture of a baseball team saying a quick prayer before their game like we do every game, but I see so much more.

What I see is a group of guys who have struggled all season to see the big picture finally coming together again. Surrendering the “ME” for the “WE”. A team that has faced many obstacles already this season and refused to give up. A group of guys who even when it got bumpy stayed true and put their trust in the process. These are the guys that I would take to battle any day against anybody.

First tournament in the books for the spring 2022 season, and the opening day jitters were in full effect. Back to the grind this week as we prepare for battle in Houston this weekend!

Banditos wrapped up their fall season today in Dallas at Mavs Ballpark, and oh what a season it was finishing up with a 29-8 record. These boys accomplished so much this season; from being ranked number 1 in the state at AA, to being bumped to AAA and finishing number 5 in the state there. We put these boys up against some of the best teams Texas has to offer; AAA, Majors, and even playing up to 11u. No matter where we put them they competed. Win, lose, or draw; there isn’t another group of ballers I’d rather take to battle.

Huge shoutout to our parents and fans who follow these boys all over the state watching them chase their dreams. Without the words of encouragement, driving them to practices, tournaments, and even the snacks in between games none of this would be possible. We’ve said it before but we definitely have the best group of parents and fans; nothing but love for each and every member of our baseball family.

Time for a little R&R through the holidays before it’s back to the grind. These boys are hungry and spring is sure to be another huge season! Banditos are coming for you!

NTX Banditos wearing their jerseys today in honor of Jackson Sparks an 8 year old boy who lost his life in the Waukesha Parade tragedy. While we may never understand why you were taken from this world so soon, may we find comfort in knowing your are playing baseball in heaven smiling down on us all. This weekend we play for you Jackson!

Another weekend for the books. Boys had the opportunity to meet and hang out with Texas Rangers catcher Jose Trevino, he’s such a cool down to earth guy. Banditos came out on top adding another championship to their fall season, and also getting bumped to AAA! Great job boys, keep up the hard work!
