Coach: “Make sure you carb load before race day.”
Me: “Got it.”
One slice of pizza somehow turned into family-size Oreos… which somehow turned into more .
Taper week has a way of making ‘weird’ nutrition decisions sound completely reasonable.

What if the biggest mistake in women’s running shoes wasn’t the runner…
…but the assumption that women are simply smaller men?
I hadn’t really thought about it until I started digging into the research.

Why do we hate this part of marathon training?
At one point, you are squeezing in every run you can…
…then suddenly you have enough free time to discover you apparently have a dance career. 🕺🏼
Welcome to taper week……not taper crazies!
😂
Tell me I’m not the only one.
What’s the one thing about taper you look forward to and why is it more dancing?
New logo. Same mission.
An Everyday Athlete isn’t defined by pace, distance, podiums, or finish times.
It’s anyone who keeps showing up.
I’d love to know…
What makes you an Everyday Athlete?
Share your story below. Someone reading the comments might need to hear it today. ❤️

Most Monday motivation disappears by lunchtime.
Not because people don’t care.
Because nobody knows what you’re working toward.
So let’s change that. 👇🏼
What’s ONE thing you’re committing to this week?
Not ten things.
One.
Maybe it’s getting three runs in.
Maybe it’s finally signing up for that race.
Maybe it’s taking a rest day without feeling guilty.
Mine?
Building The Everyday Athlete into something bigger than Run Tri Bike.
Your turn.
Leave ONE commitment below.
Then come back Friday and tell us if you kept it.
Let’s keep each other accountable.
Every runner knows the rule...
Nothing new on race day.
Shoes.
Nutrition.
Socks.
Breakfast.
We’ve heard it a thousand times.
But nobody ever explains the rules for AFTER the finish line. 😂
So...
Does trying a new recovery meal count?
Or have we all collectively decided to ignore that rule?
👇🏼 Settle the debate I’m having in my own head
What’s the first thing you eat after a race?
CONFESSION TIME.
I’ll get us started…….
After years of triathlon, I still get nervous standing on the edge before an open water swim.
Watching openly share what getting back into the water really looks like reminded me that confidence isn’t something we’re born with. It’s something we build.
That’s one reason I appreciate partners like . They aren’t just making technology for swimmers; they’re helping Everyday Athletes feel more confident in the water.
Now it’s your turn.
👇🏼 What’s your swimming confession?
No judgment.
No ego.
Just Everyday Athletes helping Everyday Athletes.
Apparently the most controversial decision before the San Francisco Marathon isn’t my pacing...it’s the color of my shoes. 😂
One tiny hint is inside this box.
What color do you think I picked...and will you judge me if you’re wrong?
A lot of people think motivation shows up first. It doesn’t. Action does.
What’s one thing you’re going to do today that your future self will thank you for?
