The Lion, the Load, and the Rifle. The Lion was taken in south central Tanzania on the Selous Game Reserve (31,000 sq. miles), with a Bl**er in .416 Re*****on Magnum. 370 grain North Fork soft-point. Distance 15 yards. **er

My first time working with this particular Bl**er R8, but of course, it didn't disappoint. The Re*****on 150 Core-Lokt is interesting in that all three groups have the same flier with two groups having 2 rounds through the same hole and one group 2 rounds touching. The flier could have been me but it didn't show up in either the Federal or Hornady loads. Groups will continue to tighten up as I get in sync with the rifle and focus on a particular load. The scope was the Minox 1-5.

Range work with the Bl**er R8 Professional in .308 Wi******er on the last day of 2022. Superbly accurate, no surprise there.

I recently learned that one of the premier safari companies in Tanzania is providing a Bl**er for their "rental rifle". This is akin to an Italian leasing company renting you a Ferrari to tour the Alps, which would be very nice. The Bl**er is such a great choice considering its reliability, superb accuracy, exquisite trigger, and the ability to convert it to either right-hand or left-hand in seconds to meet the needs of a particular client. Pictured is a Bl**er displayed on a drift log on the banks of the Great Ruaha River in southeastern Tanzania.

You can see the flames behind me to the right. Throughout Africa, hunters and trackers are constantly setting fires. This keeps the brush burned so that you don't have the giant fires we see on our west coast (The political hacks in California, Oregon, and Washington could learn something here). It also keeps the grass and brush low so you can see the game, and it provides for new grass and browses for the animals. This is a reed buck taken in Tanzania.

Hey Friends, welcome to the brand new Bl**er R8 Rifle page. Colonel Cooper thought the Bl**er Rifle was one of the finer innovations of the 20th century and for this reason, he included it on the cover of The Art of the Rifle, and I concur. I am proud to be conducting the Bl**er R8 Master Series Classes in collaboration with Bl**er Rifles. Here I will be providing details on the rifle along with information regarding upcoming classes at Joshua Creek Ranch, the N.R.A. Whittington Center, SkyFall Ranch, etc. I've taken lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, etc. with the Bl**er and the rifles are simply superb.
