Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to honor and celebrate the life of Tim Clonch. We were blown away by the incredible turnout of friends, family, and members of the racing community whose lives Tim touched throughout his 58 years.

Tim was on lap 123 of 125 when he passed, so yesterday we had the opportunity to finish his final two laps with the car he was racing that night leading the way and Tim was in front in the back of his truck. It was a special way to honor a man who had such a deep love for racing.

Tim will be greatly missed, not only by all of us here at Smiley’s, but by so many throughout the racing community and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared memories, and supported Tim’s family during this difficult time. The outpouring of love and support has meant more than words can express. ❤️🏁

This past weekend was a hard one. Saturday night, we lost one of our very own, Tim Clonch. Tim has worked at Smileys for 42 years, was a dear friend of Tom’s since the early ‘80s and Tom’s very first employee. Tim was an avid racer his whole life and had a passion for the sport of racing. He will be very missed by us here at Smileys, his family and friends and many of you who would come into Smileys just to talk to him. We hope you will join us in praying for Tim’s family after his sudden passing and continue to keep his memory alive by sharing the stories and memories that made him such a special part of our racing community. Tim will always be part of the Smiley’s family, and he will be deeply missed.

We will be having a celebration of his life out at RPM Speedway this Sunday October 18th at 1:18 pm for visitation and 2:18 pm will be a funeral for him. We hope you can join us.
