For the safety of our families and staff, Child Watch will be closed this evening due to the storm.
At this time, the rest of the facility remains open. We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and share any updates as needed.

We wanted to share some highlights from last week's cooking demonstration at Local Good Center with our dietitian Bea Morales. We proudly host cooking classes in different locations across North Texas to help families have access to healthy recipes through live demonstrations.
Thank you to the AdvoCare Foundation for supporting our cooking classes. Their support helps the YMCA educate more North Texas communities on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
If you're interested in starting a cooking class in your community, please contact our Senior Director of Healthy Lifestyles Tracey Burns at [email protected].

It’s time to take action!
As we wrap up Five Days of Action®, we invite you to sign the
pledge to protect children from abuse and commit to ongoing
digital safety awareness.
Sign the pledge today at fivedaysofaction.org.
Every adult has a role to play in protecting children, online and off.

Today during Five Days of Action®, we’re highlighting the
importance of monitoring online activity and having a plan.
Did you know 1 in 5 children who use a digital device will be
sexually solicited online? Technology changes fast, and kids are
targeted on the apps, games, and sites they love. Having a Cyber
P.L.A.N., monitoring device use, and teaching online safety rules
can help keep your child safe. Visit fivedaysofaction.org and check
out resources from our partners in child abuse prevention,
Lauren's Kids, to learn how to set boundaries, teach good cyber
habits, and protect your family online.
