The league promotes amateur baseball, entertainment and sportsmanship for men 18 years of age and older and is active in charitable activities. The league is sanctioned by USA Baseball and the National MSBL. The league employs professional umpires and provides excellent playing facilities at local schools and city parks. Rookie Expos Make Comeback Attempt, But Fall To Deep Ellum Blues

Despite a 4-run deficit in the fourth inning, Expos almost came all the way back, eventually falling 6-5 to Deep Ellum Blues on Saturday. Expos closed the gap by scoring on a walk and an error.
Deep Ellum Blues were the first to get on the board in the first when David Bennett induced Carson Tonini to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Deep Ellum Blues committed an error, which helped Expos (R) tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
A single by Ryan Travis gave Deep Ellum Blues the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second. A walk by Eddy DeLuca extended the Deep Ellum Blues lead to 3-1 in the top of the third inning.
Michael Rooney earned the win for Deep Ellum Blues. The pitcher gave up zero hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking three. Bennett took the loss for Expos (R). The starter went one inning, giving up one run (zero earned) on zero hits, striking out one and walking one. Jorge Santiago earned the save.
Bennett led Expos (R) with one run batted in. Warren Rudman stole two bases. Expos (R) had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Expos (R) ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game.
Chris Ackles, DeLuca, Mike Chapman, Travis, Michael Rooney, and Ken Troupe each collected one hit for Deep Ellum Blues. DeLuca, Travis, and Tonini each drove in one run for Deep Ellum Blues. Chapman stole two bases. Deep Ellum Blues stole four bases in the game.

The 2025 Rookie League is open to players of all ages and all ability levels. Players must be at least 17 years of age to play. Location below, however be sure to drive down Old Settlers Road past Flower Mound High School. Turn left onto Peters Colony Road. Just past the tennis courts on the right hand side is the Baseball Complex.
LOCATION: Flower Mound High School Baseball Complex
ADDRESS: 3400 Peters Colony Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75022
TIME: 10AM - 12PM (arrive by 9:30PM)
IMPORTANT: The cost to play Rookie League is $165.00 per player. This fee must be paid in full before a player can take the field. Cost for existing NTABL players playing on a team in Open (18+), Veterans (30+), Masters (45+), Regency (53+), or Legacy (60+) is $82.50 per player.
The Rookie League features a 10-game regular season followed by a single-elimination playoff tournament to close the Spring season. Playoff structure are subject to change. Teams will also send players to compete in the NTABL Annual All-Star Games & Charitable Fundraiser featured at the Texas Rangers affiliate, Frisco RoughRiders Minor League Ball Park during the summer. All-Star Game location is subject to change.
