Oklahoma Bombers Fastpitch

Congrats to Bombers Gold 16U National player Kynlee Callahan and her family. Kynlee has committed to play softball for Trinity Valley Cardinals!

Jazmin Dollarhide(2027/2B/UTL) is a do it all athlete from Tonkawa. Pole vault, wrestling, softball….you name it, Jaz can do it!

From Coach Casey:
“Jaz is an exciting player, and one to keep an eye on. The short time I’ve known her, the thing that stands out to me is, there isn’t anything she can’t do if she applies herself and works at it. She recently was talking with me, and mentioned she might have to pitch for her school team. She showed me some videos to see if I could help her, and I was kind of blown away at how good she looked with minimal pitching practice. Again, if she sets her mind to something, she’ll achieve it! Jaz is going to be a big help for our team in many different aspects. She’s got speed, power, good softball IQ, athleticism, coachable, and isn’t afraid of competition. Jaz is an outstanding wrestler, she has a good head on her shoulders, and understands the importance of her executing her role to help the team overall. I feel like shes learned that from wrestling. I’m excited to watch Jaz play this level of competition, and excited about her having a great summer”!

Kynlee Martin(2028/1B/LHP) comes to us from Preston, where just last week she was named to the All District basketball team for the Lady Pirates Varisty squad! K Mart is also a 2 year starter for Lady Pirates softball team, and helped them earn a trip to the State tournament this past season!

From Coach Casey:
K Mart is an elite hitter. The kid literally knocks the cover off the ball! Crazy thing is, she is still improving and becoming a better hitter! K Mart is definitely our “Memaw” of the team. Shes got an old soul, but she’s a really great kid!!! She battled some back pain last year that limited her pitching, but that’s gotten better, and I expect her to help us a lot in the circle. K Mart is very strong, and she’s just kind of learning that, and starting to apply it to her game. She plays a really good first base, and being left handed helps her in that regard. K Mart is very talented, and continues to get better and likes the challenges shes seen from competition. Memaw is a fan favorite”!

Congrats to Baylee Tate…

Straight out of Stillwater, we have Landen Warner(2027/OF/1B)! Landen is a 3 year starter for the Lady Pioneers softball team, where she has been a huge help getting them to the state tournament the past 2 seasons!

“7 has one of the sharpest softball minds of any athlete Ive coached. Ive said it before, but if she chooses to become a coach, she will be at the highest level there is. And will have tremendous success at it. 7 is steady and consistent all the way around. She really understands the game, and always has a great plan both on offense and defense. 7 loves the outfield….and she loves to lay it all out to make a play in the outfield. Her favorite part of practices are literally running down fly balls in the outfield. We have to calm her down sometimes, she only has one speed. 7 is willing to do whatever is asked of her on offense, and she executes her role at a really high level. 7 is a great leader, and I know shes going to have a great summer”!

That’s 5!!! Congrats to Zoey Greenwood on being selected the Big East “Freshman of the Week” That is the fifth different Bomber Freshman selected for Freshman of the week honors in Division 1 Softball.

Sara Mouse(2028/OF) comes to us from Tahlequah Sequoyah, and was named to the 3A-6 All District team as an outfielder this past season. Mouse is also a 2x State qualifying power lifter for the the Lady Indians! 💪🏽

From Coach Casey:
“Mouse is a major catalyst to our squad, and does so strictly by actions! Mouse is very quiet natured, but lets her game do the talking. She worked her way into lead off hitter last year, and shes really excelled there. Shes a very disciplined and dangerous hitter! She understands situational hitting very well, and has a high success rate with her situational hitting. Mouse could really be effective anywhere in the line up, shes that good of a hitter. And the kid is a stud in the outfield!! I don’t know of many kids that makes the outfield look as easy she does. In the beginning, she made it look so easy it scared me at times. Now, I have all the confidence in the world with a play coming her way. She will be a huge part to our success this year, and I’m here for it all”!

Congratulations to Oklahoma Bombers 2K13's Kaydrie Steele for being selected as the Oklahoma Bombers Player of the Week!

Kaydrie Steele had an outstanding weekend at the plate, helping lead her team to a perfect 4–0 record and earning Tournament Championship MVP honors. Steele finished the tournament with an impressive .667 batting average, .700 on-base percentage, and .889 slugging percentage, while driving in 5 RBIs.

Her consistent production and clutch hitting were key factors in the team’s championship run. Steele is also currently leading the team for the season with a remarkable .632 batting average, continuing to be a major offensive force in the lineup.

Back on the dirt this Sunday! 🥎
Last weekend we played in these same scrimmages and went 1-1. It was a great opportunity to start knocking off some rust and getting our timing back on the field. We're looking forward to keeping that momentum going and continuing to build!
