Sunday, Sunday...so good to me. Ok, I know the song says Monday. But I love Sundays! I sit in the quiet with my coffee almost every morning but there's something special about Sunday.

By the end of the week, my soul is weary and worn out. I'm physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted. Not necessarily in a negative way. But along comes Sunday and my soul, my ability to give grace is fully restored. It prepares me for the week ahead.

A still and quiet Sunday morning does not take away the troubles of the week ahead...it just better equips me to handle the troubles that come my way.

I was terribly misinformed on week 5 "Recovery Week"...I thought we were going to be doing a bunch of yoga and stretching. I'm sweating like a w***e in church up in here! It was a nice change to not be killing my body like the last 4 weeks!

See those eyes? The beautiful blue eyes of my little photo bomber??? She watches me do everything...cook, workout, rest, clean (on rare occasions lol), how I talk to others, how I talk about others, all the mundane things I DONT think she's watching - she's still watching.

Our behaviors will become their behaviors. They learn so much from watching us. Make sure you are giving them a good example.

🙏pray without ceasing🙏

Whatever keeps you up at night, whatever decisions you are thinking about, whatever you need divine help with....PRAY. In the morning. In the evening. In the afternoon....PRAY.

I've spent the last 5 weeks, getting up at 5am, 5 days a week to pray. I've laid out some pretty heavy burdens and yet, PEACE.

When you are anxious, bring it to Jesus. Lay it at his feet. (Do your best to not pick it back up...speaking from experience.)

He wants to hear from His children. He wants you to pause your day and talk to him. Try praying when you wake this week and see how your day goes. There will still be troubles and anxieties. But you will be better equipped to handle these things!
