Layla working really hard on her right inside edge one foot glide on a circle. We are working on pointing the toe in the lifted leg while it’s attached to the skating leg, as well as keeping her upper arms steady throughout and not *wiping a table. This was Layla’s first time EVER trying these, so I would say these are gosh darn good for a first timer! WAY TO GO, LAYLA!!! 😍💝⛸️

Avery, we are all SO incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see where you will be 1-year from now, 5-years from now, and 10-years from now!!! Tony saw Lara working on her newest skill - waltz jumps with crossover entrance - and we think he missed figure skating just a tad... So while in full hockey gear and hockey skates, Tony decided to join in on the fun! It took him a couple of tries because he kept nose-diving on the landing, due to not having a toepick, but he figured it out quickly. TONY IS NOW LANDING WALTZ JUMPS IN HOCKEY SKATES!! Way to go, Kiddo! 💚🏒🥅⭐️

It’s Throwback Thursday once again!!! Here we are back in 2021 - one of the very first times Lara (age 2 here) & Tony (age 5 here) went ice skating with me! Tony is in the back marching and scooter pushing☺️🥰 while I give Lara a superhero ride🦸🏼‍♀️🚀. Hope y’all are enjoying these little snippets from the past of the kiddos when they first started out on their ice skating journeys! (And please ignore my husband’s commentary😅🤣, as I obviously couldn’t hear him through the glass!) 🩵💝⛸️
