This was going to be a story.
I was going to post a story wishing a happy birthday to my friend Amit. We met 8 years ago (that’s crazy to think about) through the program at - since then this man has become a really good friend. We’ve worked in various nonprofits together, I’ve made him custom suits and shirts, he is actually the one that first got me involved with , and we’ve shared countless coffees and dinners talking about sports, politics, volunteering, business, and life in general. He’s one of the men I most admire, the type of guy that for a birthday present probably wants you to just go vote, or support a nonprofit (like ), or watch PBS. But that’s exactly the reason he deserves a post and not a story.

For the last month this book has been blessing our coffee table - it has sparked more conversations than I can count, and I don’t even be having people over like that. Thank you for the inspiration.
