It’s Giving Day! Please consider making a donation to the team via PayPal or Venmo. We are not funded by the school, and rely on donations to keep the team going. This has been a difficult year for everyone due to the pandemic, and we are no exception. The pandemic has caused us to miss several key fundraising events, so your support on Giving Day matters more than ever this year. We will be featuring all donors in a “Thank you!” post, please consider giving a donation of any size. Thank you for your continued support of the team, and Boomer Sooner!! 🐴

Hey, everyone! Our boy Elliot recently had a case of colic that resulted in a trip to the vet’s. Thankfully, he was able to receive proper care and is recovering very well, but his treatment is costly. Elliot is a very, very special horse, and any help in covering his treatment expenses would mean the world to the team members and Coach Laura!
Elliot's Colic Fund, organized by Elizabeth Edling

Happy Teammate Tuesday! 🥳
This weeks featured team member is Shira Barnett! Shira is a sophomore pre-communications disorders major from Centennial, Colorado. She shows with us in the introductory flat classes, and her fun fact is that she is a twin! We’re excited to see her kill it in the ring this year ❤️🥰

This team has always been a safe space for its members, and we want to show our support for the Black Lives Matter movement. However, simply stating that we support the movement in an Instagram caption or on any form of social media isn’t enough anymore. The time for performative activism is NOT now, now is the time to use white privilege to amplify black voices, educate yourself on racial issues in this country, donate to organizations supporting the cause, sign petitions, call your legislators, get out there and VOTE for a better future, and make the voices of a group of people who have been oppressed for so long in America heard. We challenge everyone reading this to try their best to make their allyship turn into true activism. We recognize that the equestrian community has always been a very privileged, white-dominated community, and I hope that this period in history challenges the members of this community to work towards making this a more diverse and inclusive industry for everyone with a passion for horses to be a part of.
