We are retired RVers and belong to the Jolly Good Sams RV Group. Jolly Good Sams RV group. Our next camp out is September 19-22 at Silver Spur KOA in Canton, Tx.
We meet generally one week a month from Sunday afternoon until Thursday Morning. We visit all around North Texas and Oklahoma with a specialty trip thrown in occasionally. We love to sightsee, play golf in cool weather, metal detect, shop, eat great food, play games and visit. This is a very accepting, encouraging and helpful group of folks. Newcomers to this hobby are always welcome. Our chapter is one of the strongest in Texas, growing, and very well supported. We get a discounted rate at the camping sites. RV Group
The Jolly Good Sam RVers is a local chapter of the national Good Sam Travel Group. We travel Sunday - Thursday from September thru June with occasional specialty trips. We use RV parks and make use of Recreation Halls who have kitchen facilities, tables, chairs, etc. We enjoy the smaller towns in and around Texas and promote local restaurants and businesses. We spend our days sightseeing, games, golf, eating (of course), making crafts, and relaxing. Some of our members are second and third generation club members. We are always open and eager to welcome visitors and new members into this fantastic group!
