Recent Training Logs
Weight training is usually chest/back, arms, and delts/legs. Conditioning work is done with different combinations of boxing, kickboxing, rowing, cycling, running, sandbags, kettlebells, sled drags, rucks, and medicine ball work. We do medley type assessment tests regularly to compete. Intensity is regulated each day based on recovery.

When it comes to strength sports Weightlifting has a far more storied history and prestige than powerlifting. It has one recognized international governing body and is contested in the Olympics, at least for now.
To be the top of either sport you need to dedicate yourself wholly to that sport. For the majority of lifters though there is a lot to be learned from both sports.
We are starting to incorporate more variations of the classical lifts from Weightlifting (Clean and Jerk, Sn**ch). While we are unlikely to do the classic lifts themselves, we are starting to use sn**ch grip high pulls, power cleans and push presses, behind the neck presses with a sn**ch grip, muscle sn**ches, front squat plus power jerk, etc.
