We, the Bridge Family, are a small sports-based youth development nonprofit serving the urban communities of North Texas. In 2004, our programming began with a simple summer lacrosse camp in South Dallas. In 2008, we officially became Bridge Lacrosse. Since then, we have introduced lacrosse to hundreds of student-athletes in both South and West Dallas, and other communities, by providing hours of high-quality lacrosse instruction with the help of high school volunteers and coaches.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend of college lacrosse. We want to send a reminder of sacrifice, service and gratitude. Today we pause to remember those who gave everything for our country and reflect on the responsibility we all have to serve our communities well.
It’s graduation season and we are proud to see how the hard work of so many of our Panthers and Eagles are paying off in big ways. A special shoutout and recognition to many of our Eagles, graduating from The Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy and earning incredible scholarship opportunities for their future. Congrats to Brandon for that full ride to U of Chicago and to all our Eagles and Panthers!

We are so proud and thankful for this group and for our two coaches, Coach Kat and Coach Emily. It's almost time! The TGHSLL State tournament weekend begins tomorrow and our Varsity Panthers are headed to the semi-finals and then a shot at a state championship! All of their hard work, the highs and lows, the grit and patience has gotten them this far and they want it all.
We are calling on our entire Bridge Family to join us in the stands and on the livestream to cheer on this incredible team. Our semi-final game is Saturday, 3:00p at ESD, and with a win we'll play again on Sunday, 4:00p at ESD! Let's be there for our Panthers! Take State!
