Good day,

I would like to introduce myself and announce that I am officially throwing my name in the ring for the Atlantic Area VP for 2027. My name is Douglas Wachtel. I am a Delivery Support Specialist for Headquarters with prior positions as Postmaster in Goshen, Bantam, and Canton Connecticut. I am the current Executive Vice President and Membership Chair of the Connecticut Chapter and am also a Chapter Member Representative for Connecticut. I' am part of the National Communication team for UPMA and am also starting out on the National KSA review board. My platform is based on communication between Chapters and as a whole. I believe we can be an even stronger organization with an increase in communication - sharing issues as well as positive achievements we see everyday. There is a vast knowledge base available and I believe I can help channel this throughout all chapters as a whole. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to seeing you in Dallas.
