The Lionettes will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2005 state championship on Friday, January 16, 2015 against Sachse.
We want ALL Lionettes to come out that night and support the celebration of the 2005 team but also the 2015 squad. The ceremony will take place during halftime of the varsity game which will kick off at 7:30.

So I’m starting to pack up my classroom (retiring) and found this on a shelf mixed in with all of my family pictures.
It’s from 2005 and was given to me before the Area championship game at Marcus by one of the parents.
It still works as a noise maker. When I picked it up the pennies inside sloshed around and it startled my students.

Ok, so, we're going to have to change the date of the 20th anniversary celebration. I am so sorry, but the schedule has changed and January 7th is not a home game. Please pass the word.
We have rescheduled our celebration to Friday, March 7, 2025. The game will be at MISD Stadium vs McKinney Boyd as part of a varsity double-header. We are the home team. The boys play the 1st game at 5:30 and the girls the 2nd at 7:30. We will have the celebration following the boys game.
Calling ALL Lionette soccer alums!! Friday, December 29, 2023 is Lionette alumni night at THE McKinney High School. It is the 1st official game of the 2024 season. We will celebrate the 2014 Regional Finals team. The alumni will get recognized as part of the varsity game.

Attention Lionettes, Tuesday night is Alumni night for Lionette soccer. We're scrimmaging North at Lionette Field at THE McKinney High School. Varsity kickoff is 7:30pm. We'll recognize alumni at halftime of the varsity game.

I for one can't wait to honor the team that initiated the history of women's soccer excellence in McKinney isd.
