14 Red will be led by Coach Nolan, who brings six years of club and school coaching experience into her second season with City Juniors! A former Division III volleyball player at Bryn Mawr College, Coach Nolan played four years as a setter and developed a strong understanding of the game and the importance of teamwork on the court. She currently coaches the Freshman Black volleyball team at St. Agnes Academy and is passionate about helping athletes grow both individually and as teammates. Coach Nolan believes that high levels of communication on the court promote camaraderie and a spirit of support, regardless of the outcome of the game. She also emphasizes passing and serving as fundamental skills that are crucial to player development and success in the sport. We are excited to have Coach Nolan lead 14 Red this season!🩵❤️💙

13 Red, will be led by Coach Ava as she enters her 4th season of coaching and 2nd season with City Juniors! Currently a rising senior and member of the volleyball team at Texas Southern University, Coach Ava has found coaching to be such a meaningful part of her journey. Her passion for the game comes from growing up around coaches who were not only incredible at what they did, but were also amazing mentors and role models in her life. Those experiences helped shape her into the person and athlete she is today, and now she is grateful for the opportunity to pour that same confidence, support, and love into the next generation of athletes! We are excited to have Coach Ava lead 13 Red through another season full of growth, hard work, and lasting memories!🩵❤️💙

12 Navy, our top 12s team, will be led by Head Coach Alisa as she returns to CJV for her third season! Coach Alisa was a 4-year varsity athlete as a right-side hitter and team captain, where she earned multiple accolades throughout her career and developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and competitive play. Her experience as an athlete shaped her understanding of the game and continues to influence her approach to coaching today. She is now entering her fifth season of club coaching and her third season of high school coaching, bringing a well-rounded perspective from both competitive environments. Coach Alisa is passionate about helping athletes build strong fundamentals, grow their confidence, and develop a genuine love for the game. Her positive and intentional coaching style, she creates an environment where athletes are both challenged and supported. Her focus goes beyond skill development, emphasizing teamwork, effort, resilience, and long-term growth as players and individuals. We are excited to have Coach Alisa leading 12 Navy this season and look forward to a strong and successful season! 🩵❤️💙

13 Navy, our top 13s team, will be led by Coach Jackson, a former University of Houston volleyball player who helped guide the Cougars to an AAC West Division title and a Sweet Sixteen appearance while setting multiple program records, including career service aces and attack attempts. Her playing and coaching background brings a high-level understanding of the game into every athlete she works with, creating a competitive and intelligent training environment in our gym. Coach Jackson is the co-owner of City Juniors Volleyball and is entering her sixth season as a club coach. She is widely known for her effective, compassionate coaching style and her ability to see and develop each athlete as an individual. Coach Jackson is deeply committed to fostering both athletic excellence and personal growth in her players. We are thrilled to have Coach Jackson leading 13 Navy this season and are looking forward to an exciting and successful season! 🩵❤️💙

14 Navy, our top 14s team, will be led by Head Coach Sydney and Assistant Coach Alisa! Coach Sydney returns for her second year at City Juniors Volleyball Club after a standout playing and coaching career. She played at Florida Southern (indoor and beach), competed overseas in England for three years, and brings over 8 years of coaching experience. Her coaching background includes 5 seasons leading Norcross High School Varsity, time with A5 Gwinnett, and 3 additional seasons in Houston. Her diverse playing and coaching experience has shaped her strong leadership and deep understanding of the game. In her time off the court, you can find Coach Sydney working behind the scenes in the volleyball world as a Regional Sales Representative for Mizuno. Coach Alisa is entering her third season with CJV and fifth year of club coaching, bringing experience as a 4-year right side hitter, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and competitive play. Her experience as an athlete shaped her understanding of the game and continues to influence her approach to coaching today. She has earned multiple accolades throughout her playing career. Together, they are committed to building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for the game in their athletes. We’re excited to have both coaches return and lead 14 Navy this season and look forward to a strong season ahead!🩵❤️💙

Congratulations to Harper Hawley on earning Player of the Tournament for 15 Navy this past weekend at Lone Star Regionals! We are so proud of the consistent leadership, hard work, and dedication you showed all season long. Way to go, Harper! 🩵❤️💙

Today we hosted our All Skills Clinic, and it was the biggest clinic City Juniors has had to date! The talent that came through the gym today was so exciting to watch and coach.
