Personal trainer since 2007, helping women 40–65 thrive through menopause. Strength, balance & flexibility focused. TUF Bodies. Strong at every stage.
Certified in personal training, nutrition coaching, yoga & assisted stretching. https://gainful.com/TUF Hi, I’m Shayla Ryder, owner of TUF Bodies, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been a personal trainer since 2007, specializing in strength training, nutrition coaching, remote coaching, and assisted stretching, working primarily with women navigating the menopause phase of life. My passion for he
alth began long before TUF. In the late ’90s, I started learning how the body truly works, not just for weight loss, but for long-term health, strength, and independence. I saw firsthand that dieting alone doesn’t work, and exercise alone doesn’t work. But when you combine smart movement, proper nutrition, and consistency, lives change. That belief became deeply personal after losing my grandfather. Watching his health decline from inactivity showed me how powerful and fragile our bodies can be. I couldn’t change his journey, but it fueled my purpose to help others take control of theirs. In 2007, I turned that purpose into a career, becoming a certified personal trainer and later expanding my education to include nutrition coaching, yoga, and assisted stretching. In 2008, I opened Transform U Fitness (TUF), now known as TUF Bodies, a community built on strength, support, and real-life results. Today, my mission is simple: help women feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies, especially during menopause, when the rules change and support matters more than ever. This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about building strength, balance, and habits that support you now and for years to come. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Stronger bodies. Better lives. Welcome to TUF.

Monday reminder 💜
You do NOT need to “start over” this week.
You just need to keep going.
Maybe the weekend wasn’t perfect.
Maybe you missed a workout.
Maybe you had more dessert, drinks, or snacks than planned.
Okay. Move on.
The people who see results are NOT the people who are perfect every single day…
They’re the people who keep showing up anyway.
So instead of punishing yourself this Monday or trying some extreme reset…
👉 Drink your water
👉 Get your workout in
👉 Make a few better choices
👉 Keep going
That’s it. That’s the secret 👏

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who keep showing up… even when they’re exhausted. 💪🤍
The moms balancing work, kids, meals, schedules, stress, and still trying to take care of themselves too.
Today isn’t about perfection.
It’s about celebrating your strength, your heart, and everything you do that no one else sees.
Take the picture.
Eat the dessert.
Go for the walk.
Rest when you need to.
And remember… taking care of YOU matters too.
Happy Mother’s Day from TUF Bodies 🌸
Drop your favorite mom photo in the comments 👇🤍
This pic always cracks me up when I see it. My Grandmother said, "I don't remember putting that on my head!" ☺️

Get outside today ☀️
Go for a walk.
Get some movement.
Get your Vitamin D.
Did you know Vitamin D3 from the sun is one of the most powerful nutrients your body needs?
It helps support:
☀️ mood
☀️ energy
☀️ immune health
☀️ overall wellness
Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is as simple as stepping outside for 15 minutes.
Fresh air. Sunshine. Movement.

Don’t be lame this weekend and throw away all the hard work you put in this week 👀
One meal? Fine.
A drink? Fine.
Enjoying yourself? Totally fine.
But acting like Friday night means:
🍕 “guess my diet starts Monday”
🍹 drinking all weekend
🛋️ skipping everything
😩 feeling miserable by Sunday
…that’s lame behavior 😂
You’ve worked too hard this week to completely sabotage yourself in 48 hours.
Get your workouts in.
Drink your water.
Make decent choices MOST of the time.
You do NOT have to be perfect…
just stop acting like weekends don’t count.
TUF love 💜

Healthy dessert that actually tastes GOOD 👏🍓
A lot of people think getting healthy means giving up dessert… and honestly, that’s usually why diets don’t last.
You can absolutely make progress without cutting out everything you enjoy.
This high-protein cheesecake bowl is:
✔️ Simple
✔️ Filling
✔️ Tastes like dessert
✔️ Supports your goals
Proof that healthy eating does NOT have to be boring 💜

“I just don’t have time.”
I hear that all the time.
And honestly… most women aren’t lazy.
They’re overwhelmed.
Work.
Kids.
Schedules.
Life.
So taking care of themselves keeps getting pushed to “later.”
But here’s the truth 👇
You do NOT need 2 hours in the gym.
You need:
✔️ A plan
✔️ Consistency
✔️ Workouts that fit your real life
That’s why I keep things simple.
👉 3 workouts a week
👉 Structured + effective
👉 No wasting time trying to figure out what to do
Because something is always better than nothing.
And those small consistent choices?
They add up FAST.
💬 Message me TIME if you want a simple plan you can actually stick to.

A lot of us were taught to put ourselves last.
Take care of everyone else first…
handle everything that needs to get done…
and then maybe, if there’s time, take care of ourselves.
But over time, that turns into something else.
👉 Feeling like you’re not a priority
👉 Putting your goals on the back burner
👉 Starting… stopping… starting again
Not because you don’t care —
but because you’ve gotten used to coming last.
At some point, that has to change.
You’re allowed to take care of yourself too.
You’re allowed to make time for YOU.
It doesn’t have to be extreme.
Sometimes it just starts with:
✔️ A simple plan
✔️ A few workouts a week
✔️ Actually sticking with it
So be honest with me 👇
Are you making yourself a priority right now… or still putting yourself last?

Yesterday I asked if you’re following a plan…
or just kind of winging it.
And honestly… most people don’t have a plan.
They’re working out when they can
doing random workouts
and hoping it all adds up.
The problem?
That’s exactly why results are inconsistent.
Not because you’re not trying…
but because there’s no structure.
When you have:
✔️ A plan to follow
✔️ A set number of workouts
✔️ A clear focus
Everything changes.
You stop overthinking
and start seeing progress.
That’s exactly why I use simple 4-week programs 👇
3 workouts a week. No guessing.
👉 If you’re ready to actually follow something and stay consistent,
message me PLAN and I’ll help you get started 💬

You don’t need to “start over” tomorrow…
You just need a plan you’ll actually follow.
Because most people aren’t failing from lack of effort...
they’re failing because they’re guessing.
Random workouts.
No structure.
No consistency.
The people who sign up for one of my 4-week programs?
They’re not guessing.
They know exactly what to do every week 👇
✔️ 3 structured workouts
✔️ Clear focus (strength, core, or balance)
✔️ Simple, effective, and doable
No overthinking. Just follow the plan.
Whether you need something to:
👉 Get you back on track
👉 Add to what you’re already doing
👉 Or finally stay consistent for more than a week…
I’ve got you 👇
🔥 TUF TRX – full body strength + core
🔥 Core Reset – tighten + strengthen your midsection
🔥 Unshakeable – balance, stability, control (BOSU)
This isn’t about doing more…
It’s about doing the right things consistently.
If you’re ready for that, drop PLAN below or send me a message 💬

Weekends used to completely throw me off.
I’d miss a workout, eat a little off, and then just decide I’d “start over Monday.”
But that cycle never got me anywhere.
What actually worked was letting go of perfect.
Now I focus on:
✔️ Moving my body (even if it’s quick)
✔️ Making a few better choices
✔️ Not quitting just because the day isn’t perfect
That’s what builds real consistency.
And honestly… weekends are where it matters most.
What’s one thing you’re doing today to stay on track?

Because let’s be honest… doing it alone is hard.
That’s where most people fall off.
But when you have someone showing up with you, pushing you, and expecting you to be there… everything changes.
You stay consistent.
You push a little harder.
You don’t quit as easily.
And that’s what actually gets results.
Do you have someone holding you accountable right now?
If you don’t, I can help with that.
