Who, Why, What & Where

My name is Ian Stover and I have been coaching goalkeepers of all ages for more than two decades in CO and TX in both club + private settings. I hold NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping, National, and National Youth diplomas.

I now work with GKs on the side because I find it very rewarding and (for lack of a better way to put it) am really good at it. While I work with kids of most ages and abilities, many of my most tenured GKs are now competing at the highest levels in the ECNL, GDA, at US Soccer Camps/ID Centers.

My curriculum is progressive and ranges from technical foundational footwork to tactical handling of complex, high pressure situations. I specialize in providing a framework to success at the position for the younger, novice goalkeeper, and in challenging + 'coaching the gaps' for the older, more advanced kids with sessions of more 'coaching' than 'training' involved. All of my goalkeepers will be leaders and 'effective in the game'.

For the upcoming Spring we will start up our 8 week season the week of Tue/Wed 3/17-18th and will run through to Tue/Wed 5/5-6 with a make up week set for 5/12-13 (445-530pm for Juniors, 530-630pm for Select and 630-730pm from High School groups respectively). The cost for the 8 week package which guarantees your spot, gives you a little discount and a Doublestar GK training shirt (if you haven't already received one) will be $320 for the Select/HS group, and $280 for the Juniors.
