Offering in-home, private piano lessons in the Plano, Texas area. She has been teaching since 2010, and travels to the student's home for lessons.
Students receive training in music theory, technique, sight reading and ear training to open the doors to artistry and creativity. Stephanie Florentino holds an Associate of Arts degree in Music from Hill College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Tarleton State University. In addition to piano, Mrs. Florentino also plays the violin and is a member of the Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra.

Check out this song my student Leslie wrote for me! She's only in Kindergarten, but surprised me at her lesson with this. I took it home, and of course had to add my own spin to it. 😉 The very beginning where I play just single notes was all written by Leslie. Everything after is what I wrote based on her melody. Isn't it amazing how impressive a simple line of notes can sound just by adding a little more complexity to it?
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Well done, Leslie!! We make a great team. ❤️❤️

Congrats to Ronav on completing his first lesson book today!! He flew through the book, and really picked up note reading super fast! He also has an amazing ear and memory for tunes, and almost every week has a new classical piece to play for me that he figured out on his own.
I can't wait for you to level up and continue honing your piano skills. Way to go!! 🎉🎉

Tonight we're celebrating Leslie's big accomplishment. 🎉🎉
She's just started kindergarten as well as piano, but look at how great she follows the notes on the page! 😍 We've been learning the names of the white keys, and today I surprised her with a Christmas song to learn, which she was very excited about. She sat right down and started playing it on her own, with only a little help from me near the end. Way to go!!!
🧐 You can also spot Geoffrey, her giraffe friend, who sits on the chair beside her every lesson to listen to her play. 😁

Congratulations to Jonathan, who completed level 3B of Piano Adventures this week! 🎉🎉
His sight reading has grown by leaps and bounds, and he has a great ear too! 💪 He now plays piano in the school jazz band and picked up bassoon too, so his bass clef reading is especially strong now. 😉 I'm constantly inspired by his musicianship and can't wait to see how he continues to grow! Way to go, Jonathan, and keep up the great work! 👏

She always plays with confidence and joy, and we have a blast making music together every week. I love how hard she works, as well as her ear for music. We're both excited to move up to more challenging songs and see what we can accomplish together! 😁

She is always thorough and attentive to details, has great rhythm and picked up note reading very quickly. I'm so proud of how far she's already come, and excited to see her grow even more. Way to go, Kaylie!!
