What an incredible kickoff to the season!

Game 1 for Dallas Dragons Youth Tackle and Flag football teams took place this past Saturday, and our athletes brought the energy! 🏟️🏈

​Through every high and low, our players stayed strong, kept pushing, and had a blast out on the field. We are so proud of their grit and heart! 💪 Huge shoutout to our head coaches and assistant coaches for their countless hours of dedication, mentorship, and support.

Some of you may have seen the news about the young man that went into cardiac arrest during his football practice in NC. It’s a terrible circumstance. Our hearts go out to this NC family and community mourning the loss of one of theirs. 💔 🙏

We wanted to let our Dallas Dragons Youth Football families know that we always have an AED machine at every practice and game. Our coaches and staff have completed required safety and first-aid training, the coaches are equipped with first- aid kits, and every team has a certified first-aid safety coordinator (in addition to the numerous assist coaches and parent volunteers that are certified, as well).

Please feel free to reach out to any Boardmembers or Coaches if you have any questions about plans in place or anything. We want our families to know we are here and ready!

🏈 DALLAS YOUTH FOOTBALL – 2026 FLAG FOOTBALL SEASON 🏈
🐉 LET’S GO DRAGONS! 🐉
Dallas Youth Football is excited to kick off the 2026 Flag Football season! We’re looking forward to another great year of football, teamwork, development, and fun for our young athletes.
🏈 2026 FLAG TEAMS
This season, we will have:
• 2 Kindergarten–2nd Grade Teams
• 1 3rd–4th Grade Team
• 1 5th–6th Grade Team
📣 VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED!
Our flag football program depends on volunteers, and we are still in need of coaches for the upcoming season!
You do not need to be a football expert to make a difference. We’re looking for positive, dependable adults who are willing to help our players learn the game, build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, and have fun.
If you are interested in coaching or helping with a team, please reach out to Dallas Youth Football as soon as possible.

The first day of flag football practice will be Monday, August 24.
Coaches will reach out to their families prior to the first practice with their team's practice time and additional information.
📱 TEAM COMMUNICATION – BAND APP
All coaches will communicate with players and families throughout the season using the BAND app. Please watch for information from your coach regarding joining your team's BAND group.
We are excited to get our players back on the field and officially kick off the 2026 Dallas Dragons Flag Football season!
