Our 11u and 12u teams had a surprise guest to lead today's practice. Senior utility player from Iowa Softball , Caitlin Tighe, came down to work with our girls this afternoon and our girls had a blast! They also got some really good advice about what they can work on now in order to try to make it at a higher level down the road, which is what every little girl playing travel 🥎 has dreams of!

Thanks again, Caitlin, for sharing your love of the game with these girls. A moment they (and their coaches) won't ever forget!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this fundraiser for our 11u team. We raised enough money for these girls to get into a few tournaments, with our first tournament this next weekend in the Iowa City area!

The Bears 12U softball girls skipped practice tonight and spent their evening serving the Danville community. They helped clean up yards and hauled away debris left behind by this morning’s storm.

Not only are we teaching these girls how to be great athletes and teammates, but we’re also focused on teaching them how to be better people. Lending a helping hand and making a difference in someone else’s day can be just as rewarding as winning the big game.

We couldn’t be more proud of these girls! ❤️🐻🥎
