Figuring out what you’re made of in the midst of adversity will mold you more than any win could.

ENERGY IS CONTAGIOUS ‼️🤝

As a coach, I am infectious with my energy. I understand how important it is to first bring energy to what I’m doing.

I order it like this:
1. Energy
2. Effort
3. Education

Especially when dealing with younger players, they feed off of high frequency activity. When coach is up, so are we! Coaches make sure to bring that ENERGY to everything you do 💪🔥

We love TEACHING the game here at Creation Basketball Academy 🏀

In order to learn, you have to fail FORWARD. 🔜

In this clip, you see one of our 4th graders learning through this failure. We embrace failure here at Creation Basketball Academy as long as it’s in pursuit of something good.

You’ll see the first layer of teaching was to ATTACK. Once he attacked & the help side came, it became another opportunity to learn about what to do NEXT! This is what development should look like.

It doesn’t matter what setting I’m in, I’m always going to preach defense FIRST ‼️

Defense is the ugly side of basketball most coaches don’t talk about. It only becomes important when teams start scoring on them but in reality, it sets the tone for how everything else is done. 👆

Want easy offense, PLAY GREAT DEFENSE 💪
