A little vulnerability for you. 🤍

Coaches struggle with imposter syndrome too.

Today, I recorded a video of myself that I almost didn’t post. I’ll be honest this summer, I’ve let myself go a little. My routine hasn’t looked the way it normally does, and I caught myself comparing my body to other coaches online.

Then I had to remind myself…

I don’t know what their life looks like.

I don’t know what they’re sacrificing, what support they have, or what season they’re in.

My story isn’t theirs. Yours isn’t mine.

I’m a mom. I’m running a business. I’m coaching clients. I’m training for HYROX. I’m creating content. And while I always strive to take care of myself, some seasons look different than others.

Comparison only shows the highlight reel. It never shows the whole story.

The goal isn’t to become someone else. It’s to keep becoming the best version of yourself, one step at a time.

If you’re a coach just starting out or honestly, anyone working in an industry where it’s easy to compare yourself to everyone else remember this (because I have to remind myself too):

Stop measuring your beginning against someone else’s middle.

Stay focused on serving the people in front of you. Keep learning. Keep showing up. Consistency will always outlast comparison.

The right people aren’t looking for someone else’s story.

They’re looking for someone who’s real. They’re looking for yours. 🤍

My workout was supposed to take about an hour.

It took me 4 hours.

Between my son’s interruptions, camp drop-off, clients, and running a business, I kept stopping and starting.

But I still finished.

Too many people think a workout only counts if it’s uninterrupted, in the perfect gym, with the perfect playlist, wearing the perfect outfit, or with a full hour to spare.

That’s the lie that’s keeping you stuck.

Stop waiting for perfect.

Train in the messy house. Train while the kids play. Split your workout into pieces if you have to. Pause it. Come back to it.

Progress doesn’t come from perfect workouts.
It comes from the workouts you do anyway.

If you keep waiting for the “right” time, you’ll always find a reason not to start.

As I close out 38, I realized this year didn’t just change me… it taught me.

Some lessons came through wins.
Some came through heartbreak.
Some came from being a mom.
Some came from building a business.
And some came from simply refusing to give up.

Looking back, I’m grateful for all of it.

The truth is, growth rarely happens in the easy seasons. It happens when you’re forced to make hard decisions, show up when you don’t feel like it, let go of people who no longer fit your life, protect your peace, and trust yourself enough to keep moving forward.

I don’t have life figured out, but I know I’m leaving 38 wiser, stronger, and more grounded than I was when I entered it.

If even one of these lessons helps someone else, then every challenge this year was worth it.

Here’s to 39. ❤️

What’s one lesson life has taught you this year?

07/26/2026

13 years.

Not 13 weeks.
Not 6 months.
Not a “before and after.”

This is what a real transformation looks like.

We live in a world where social media convinces us that change should happen overnight. We scroll through dramatic transformations, quick fixes, and highlight reels that make it seem like becoming your best self happens in a matter of months.

The transformations that last are built over years.

This isn’t just about the body you see on the right. It’s about the woman I became along the way.

The woman who learned that food isn’t something to fear.
The woman who stopped chasing perfection and started chasing consistency.
The woman who created routines instead of relying on motivation.
The woman who learned that working out wasn’t punishment, it was a privilege.

My relationship with fitness changed.
My relationship with food changed.
My mindset changed.
My confidence changed.

And because of those changes, I’m a better coach.
A better wife.
A better mom.
A healthier, happier version of myself.

Whether someone loses weight through strength training, nutrition, GLP-1 medication, or another tool, the scale is only one small piece of the journey. The real transformation happens when you build the habits that allow you to maintain your health for years to come.

I’m about to turn 39, and I can honestly say that choosing to change my life back in 2013 was the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself.

The body changed.

But the life I built because of it?
That’s the real transformation.

Because motivation comes and goes.

Consistency is what changes your life.
