We have to confess. . Life is hard.

The greatest thing we can do for our sons and daughters is prepare them for life.

When our world gets flipped upside down, when we get backed into a corner, when we fail, when we try harder, but fail again.

When we win it all, and learn that hard work does pay off. That getting off the couch and working towards our craft does in fact make us better.

There is no other sport that prepares us for life like wrestling.

So many kids are walking away from this sport to go do something easier. As parents, we have to ask ourselves if we are preparing them for life or giving them an out?

Wrestling requires disapline, passion, work ethic, mental toughness, and the ability to stand in front of a whole gym full of people all by yourself, and fail.

Then come back next weekend and do it again.

But the secret is, everytime we show up, we come back better. Daily improvement.

This isn't just a sport we play. Wrestling is the foundation of martial arts. It is king. It's a lifestyle.
