Be done with whatever doesn't bring you the peace that your soul desires. To often you go along to get along and are miserable the entire time. In order to keep others comfortable, happy and stress free, you put your peace aside. It is time out for dismissing your peace.

The final step to cultivating inner peace is to clean house. Not literally but figuratively. Your mind is what houses all things good, bad and indifferent; not only does it house your things, it houses others stuff.
.
.
Today's Tip
.
.
7. Clear the clutter
Are you aware that the mind processes an estimated 70,000 thoughts per day. That is a lot of stuff. You have got to slow that beautiful brain down, take out all of your trash as well as anyone else trash that you are holding on to. Put all the other things in their proper place. Example: Take your gifts and talents off of the shelf, dust them off and put them to use. That alone will assist in adding peace to your life.
.
.
.
Think about your home. How good do you feel, how much more clear are your thoughts and how much better do you rest when you have purged and cleaned your home. It is the difference between night and day right. It is the same with your mind. Clear the clutter so that you have a peaceful internal environment.
.
.
Prompt: Today I will clear the clutter by throwing out(____). Taking my gift of (___) off the shelf and using it to (___).

Cultivating inner peace is about putting you first. To often you are putting other's needs over your own. You must recognize that unless your cup is mostly full, you can't be available to effectively and lovingly give to others.
.
.
.
Today's Tip.

6. Put you first. PERIOD!
.
.
.
Putting other people's needs before your own is like creating mindless tasks but expecting massive personal pay off. Life is to precious and beautiful to work it away on others tasks just to feel like you are needed, valued and worthy. Let me make it clear that giving of yourself and your time to others is certainly ok but not when it disrupts your peace and takes away from you. .
.
.
.
Prompt: I will no longer put (_____) needs before mine. Those thing will not make me any more or less valued or loved.

Cultivating inner peace requires that you not only know thy higher self but know thy current self as well. This means everything from our joy triggers to our irritants. When we are unclear as to our triggers, we tend to get tripped up.

Today's Tip:

5. Stay away from irritants
Pay close attention to what or who pushes your buttons and the reason you react. When you understand the truth behind these feelings you have become a step closer to addressing the problem and letting it go.
Prompt: (_____) is irritating my peace. Why do I feel this way?
Contine to break this all the way down by asking why, answering it then asking why over and over until you know the real answer. Then deal with the answer directly.

Good Day Darlings.

Cultivating inner peace is about knowing who you are at your core. Often times you suffer internally because you struggle between your ego, being who others wish for you to be and who you know that you are. This can be extremely frustrating. It can cause consistent turmoil and overwhelm just as the other things I mentioned this week. Who wants that? It takes much less effort to be you.

Once you know who you are, what you desire, what things are authentic to who you truly are, you will find that it is the game changer.

Today's Tip

4. Know your higher self.

Distinguish between your self versus others, yourself versus your mind, ego, needs or past experience. Take the time to understand who you really are. What are your values, your goals, your joys and passions?
Those are what defines you and make you authentic. Those things are what will assist you in not accepting things that are not in alignment with your soul. Those things are also the very things that will cause others to be attracted to you, your gifts and your energy.
When you know exactly who you are, it allows other to learn exactly who you are. Go ahead and be the biggest, best, authentic, higher version of you. It will bring amount great inner peace.

Prompt: I am_____________ (describe your authentic and higher self).

Remember at the start of this journey to cultivating inner peace, I told you that it would require more from you vs others? Here is where I believe the challenge my show up.
Tip:

3. Be aware of feelings rather than ignoring them.

When it comes to being aware of feelings that means do not ignore them. That includes your own feelings as well as others. Don't push away feelings because they are uncomfortable.

Your feelings are sending you a message. Take time to pay attention to those feelings to see what's behind them. If you don't, the feelings will come back in more unpleasant ways and really disrupt your peace. Once that happens, overwhelm, frustration and depression had room to creep in.

Prompt: Today I need to stop ignoring (_____) and pay attention to the feeling of (_____). .
.
.

Great Day Good People!
This week I am sharing practicle tips on cultivating inner peace. Yesterday's tip was to leave nothing unresolved by eliminating anything or anyone that drains your energy.

Today's tip is to surrender and accept what is. This is one of the most challenging things to do for many reasons. We have this thing where we are a resistant people. Sometimes our resistance is necessary and other times it isn't.
Life can be challenging, frustrating and all around uncomfortable. Things will come up that you can not control. Rather than resisting and fighting, just stop struggling, surrender and let your life take shape. Resistance does nothing but cause anger and overwhelm, blocks energy and stunts creativity.
How can you find a solution to any issue when you are operating from a space of resistance? Sometimes things in life is what it is. Unhook yourself from the situation or person and view it from a detached perspective.

Prompt: What in my life am I refusing to surrender? What is it that I need to accept and come to grips with? What specifically do I need to do in order to properly detach?
