As we, the North Alabama Elite Youth Football League - AYF, head into another exciting weekend of football between the North Alabama Hornets and the North Alabama Wolfpack, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of the kind of league community we are working together to build.
Good competition, team pride, and a little friendly banter are all part of what makes youth sports fun. But at the center of everything we do should be our student-athletes.
We ask every coach, parent, supporter, and association to help us keep the atmosphere competitive, positive, and respectful. Personal attacks, disrespectful comments, or behavior that takes away from the experience of our young athletes do not reflect the standard we want for NAEYFL and are not acceptable displays of sportsmanship conduct.
Let’s cheer loudly, support our teams, enjoy the great competition, and remember that at the end can of the day, we are one community serving and uplifting our children through youth sports.
Thank you for helping us continue to create an environment where our athletes can continue to compete, grow, and love the game.
