Today, the DeKalb Park District PAWS (Personnel Appreciation and Wellness Squad) put together a Summer Celebration for our amazing team! 🦦

We want to thank Tails Humane Society, Family Wellness & Rehab SC, Northwestern Medicine Behavioral Health Services, and Tamales Los Girasoles for joining us today! 🐶🌮

Staff had a blast meeting adorable puppies, learning about EAP benefits and wellness, and connecting over games and delicious food. The day concluded with Executive Director Paul Zepezauer leading a discussion on District initiatives and future goals.

This class combines the strength and flexibility of gymnastics with the creativity and movement of dance!

Tiny Twirlers
Get ready to wiggle, giggle, and move as one! This playful adult-child class introduces your little one to the magic of dance through rhythmic movement, upbeat music, and imaginative play.

3 Levels of Combo - Mini, Petite, and Beginner
These classes are designed for dancers to discover and master the fundamentals of tap, jazz, and ballet based on age and skill level.

Senior Chair Tap
This class offers all the percussive fun of traditional tap dance from the comfort of a stable chair, making it perfect for those who want to protect their joints while staying active.

We are so excited to welcome professional kite flyers Al Sparling, Darryl Waters, Jim and Sarah Gates, Anthony Catalano, Team Sky-FX, and Team Chicago Kite!

Dance the afternoon away with Live DJ entertainment from Behind The Beats - Event Productions, and get ready to rock out with Miss Jamie's Farm from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM in the Kids' Zone!

Fall is in the air! 🍂 Take a look at our remaining dates and times for our 2026 Pool Season! As the temperatures begin to drop, our last day will be Tuesday, September 15.
