4 hour Ranking Adjustments.....
We aim provide a safe, fun, and fair event. The leg from CP 7 to CP 8 was not equal for all teams as they were notified of the mapping error at different times. Fortunately the race format was point to point and we have the data from CP7 to CP8. With that being said, we will be subtracting the time spent from CP7 to CP8 from your total time. Race results will be determined from Start-CP7 and CP8 to finish.
Also, there were a few teams that did not complete bike or paddle portions that were included in the Preliminary Results, but won't be in the Final Results. Race results will be submitted to Wisconsin Adventure Racing Series and USARA in 24 hours.

4 hour Racers, we all strive for a "clean" race including the race directors. Your route from CP7 to CP8 was not the one we intended (Average time for teams on the leg was 33 minutes) Thank you for understanding.
Take a look at the stick times from CP7 to CP8. Big shout out to Team Running Free (Andrea Larson). Their time was 55:54 from CP7 to CP8. They double and triple verified that they were in the correct spot and contacted RD to inform us of the map error. Andrea stayed at that location to inform other teams until RD could take over.
Extra efforts were made by all, including the 4 teams that made the big climb and punched control 68 on the 9hr course.
One team even managed to locate 4 CP's on the 9hr course without the map!
Great memories were made!
