Just facilitated our final meeting of the renaming committee for the former Johnson & Wales campus. We facilitated meetings over the last five (5) months and received over 110 names nominated during this process.
Thank you to the renaming committee for committing their time, energy and passion to this important process. Thank you to the community for elevating so many names during this process.
Thank you Angelle C. Fouther and Urban Land Conservancy, DHA, and DPS as the owner's of the campus for your support and engagement throughout.
Special thank you to Historic Denver and Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library for providing a historic perspective of the neighborhoods that intersect the campus and a lesson of the important history of the campus.
More engagement to come but this has been a wonderful process.
