One of the many reasons I am proud to teach at is our commitment to continuing to learn! At our Wednesday weekly staff meetings, we all get together to discuss and practice a Pilates topic of the week. What did Joe Pilates intend? What do bodies need most today? We are always growing as individuals and as a studio! The last couple of weeks we have been playing around on the ladder barrel! Fellow teachers in the Denver area, reach out if you’d like to join us for a meeting sometime!

Sharing some sun, sand, and waves to your snowy feed!! 🌞🌞🌞 Yesterday I fell asleep within seconds to the soothing sound of the waves, the same ones that rocked these shores three months ago. Mother Nature always seems to speak through water, or at least, that’s where I hear her loud and clear. Moving with the tides, creation and destruction, power and softness, our connectedness, movement and stillness. 🌊

New year, same me.
Same struggles, same habits, same Achilles heels. Same strengths, same aspirations, same motivations. No matter the resolutions you make, you are still you, at your core, and that’s a good thing.
You are your own unique recipe of human. I view a huge piece of emotional and physical wellness as discovering what values and strengths are guiding you, consciously or subconsciously. Coaching is about learning to use the tools you ALREADY HAVE but may not use most efficiently. Pilates is about moving the body you ALREADY HAVE but may not know how to move optimally.
There’s no need to “reinvent” yourself in 2023. Use what you’ve already got to achieve your goals and live the life you dream of.
I’m offering a few deals right now to help get you kickstarted through the cozy winter months. Choose the one that works for you, choose yourself, choose well-being. All coaching is virtual, and pilates can be virtual or in person if you’re in Denver. DM me to sign up, or schedule an initial coaching session on my link in bio now, and pay later. I’m looking forward to working with you!

✨ Exciting announcement!! ✨
I am thrilled to share that I am moving my Pilates business to two new studio spaces in Denver, both of which will allow me to continue to grow as an instructor. The pandemic gave me a chance to reevaluate my goals and envision bigger dreams than I had allowed myself to imagine before. (Maybe you can relate?) After shepherding a strong community of friends and family virtually over the past few years, I fell back in love with running my own business. 🤘🏻
I will be at M/W/F, and .move.breathe Tues/Thurs/F. Come check out the vibe, get your Pilates on, and grab a warm pumpkin something from the local coffee shops next door on your way out. ☕️🍁💪🏻 I’m so excited to welcome you in! Reach out with any questions. 🥰 Xoxo, Arielle

If you have been experiencing increased back pain since working from home during this pandemic, Pilates can help! All of the extra sitting in front of a screen we are doing is not a natural position for our bodies, and most of us are moving less than we were when we had a real commute into the office.
Pilates improves back pain by making us aware of correct posture and strengthening the muscles that support that posture. It lengthens our bodies and creates space in our spines to counter the slouching and hunching we are doing more of these days. As this article says, "Think of a Pilates practice as an antidote to our modern lifestyles."
To read more about how Pilates can help with back pain, check out this article, and then sign up for a class to align your spine and strengthen your core muscles!
Benefits of Pilates for Back Pain
The incidence of back pain is rising because of our sedentary lifestyles and increased dependence on technology (tech neck, anyone?), combined with a “Weekend Warrior” mentality when it comes to exercising. For people in their 30s and beyond, back pain can be a chronic or constant problem, espec...
