It has been an amazing journey and experience to this point in my life. Over 8 years in the Marine Corps and taking that next step in my career. I was promoted to Staff Sergeant last week with my amazing wife pinning me. Couldn’t have asked for a better group of individuals to help mentor me to get me to this point.

🇺🇸Congrats to the newest member of RSS Metro South🇺🇸 Jaxon Roat has joined into the Marines Delayed Entry Program(DEP) and will be going to Recruit Training in a few months. In the DEP we will help Jaxon train mentally and physically to ensure he is ready!!!
The Marines and Poolees of RSS Metro South always pushing themselves to be better. No matter the environment Marines will always find a way to challenge themselves. If you think you have what it takes to take the challenge then hit me up!!!

Fact of the day: Marine aviators fly 14 to 16 hours per pilot a month. So Marine aviators and Marines who support flight operations are always at the top of their game.

🇺🇸HONOR GRADUATE🇺🇸 Huge shoutout to one of the RSS Metro South family. Paul Priester will be graduating from boot camp on Friday. From all his hard work and dedication he will be graduating at the top of his class. He will be promoted meritoriously to Lance Corporal(E-3). I am honored to have the opportunity to fly to MCRD San Diego for the graduation. More pics to follow from the graduation. 📸

Went from barely able to change a car tire to changing tires on amphibious tanks. That’s the great thing about the Marines is that you don’t need to know anything about the job, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. 🐊
