Alright amigos - I’m looking for a handful of teachers that have used my CI units to help give feedback on the ✨ UPDATED ✨ versions before I release them!
Requirements:
- Middle or High School Spanish teacher
- Regularly uses ADI / CI methods
- Has used a (mostly) complete CI unit of mine
- Willing to spend 30-45 mins going through the ✨ UPDATED ✨ version and giving feedback on Google Meets
Preferred:
- Has used a Password unit / familiar with how it works (even if you made your own!)
- Has experience with using a gallery walk
- Teaches or will teach Spanish 1 (these are the units that are ready for feedback!)
If this is YOU send and email to [email protected] with the subject “I want to give feedback!” and when you have availability 6/8, 6/9, 6/10 between 12pm MDT and 5pm MDT. If you aren’t available these dates - look out for the next round of dates at the end of June!

🔮 CLEAR FUTURE 🔮
Spanish 3 did a gallery walk with partners to read and describe what they read to a partner holding the pictures - it was - in the words of multiple high schoolers - “the coolest thing we’ve done in Spanish this year even though it was a little hard”
So, winning 🏆

✏️ S T O R Y B O A R D S ✏️
Can you guess what’s happening in this story without seeing the words? 🧐
We read a formally class created story (a fan favorite) during our sports unit last week and students created a storyboard based on the 6 most important things that happened in the text. 📝
Students wrote about the events using our unit structures - won, participated, set, sent, and had. ✏️
Storyboards are an excellent low-energy day activity where students still get a lot of input, get to re-produce some language, and get a little creativity. ✨
