Welp… then came Saturday. 😅
Not even one full lap in and everyone got together. We avoided almost all of it… until the flipping car came down right on top of us.
That impact broke the front axle and ended our night before it ever really got started. Definitely not how we wanted to finish the weekend, but sometimes you’re just in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s racing.
Still, we’re walking away proud. We came home with some hardware and some money, made memories, had fun, learned a ton at a track we hardly ever race at, and proved all weekend that we had the speed to run up front.
So proud of this dad-and-son team we’ve built. We work hard, we race hard, and we keep showing up.
And the highlight of the entire weekend, and I think half the world would agree was Friday night. We put on a show. Clean, hard, real racing from start to finish. That’s the kind of racing we love.
Not every day does the goat, , tags you in a post because he was impressed by the race craft and the race you put on for the world to see. Pretty dang cool and definitely a moment we won’t forget.
