What an incredible day! Thank you to our hosts Buddies Denver and everyone who joined the Colorado Pride Alliance pep rally and fundraiser as we send our artists, athletes and fans off to the 2026 València Gay Games! 🇪🇸

A massive thank you to Mayor Mike Johnston for standing with us and highlighting Denver’s place in the world as a safe, deeply welcoming beacon for the LGBTQ+ community.

While we took a proud runner-up for the 2030 Gay Games bid, this is only the beginning. Thank you to every single supporter!

Denver’s future is bright—not just as a powerhouse contender for future global events, but as a permanent home for everyone seeking to live as their happiest, most authentic selves.

Team Colorado pins for have arrived!

One of the two items is in and the pins look great! The shirts are expected to be delivered June 1st. We will send an email to everyone who ordered items identifying the pick-up days, which will be during the first two weeks in June. Let the countdown to VLC begin! ❤️

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for non profits and organizations that are looking to raise money that could help us with the set up and tear down of the tournament.

This journey reminded us what’s possible when people come together with shared purpose. Along the way, a city and a community showed up—again and again—with generosity, courage, support, and love.

While the final outcome wasn’t what we worked toward, this experience gave us something far more lasting. It showed us that meaning isn’t always found in the destination, but in the connections formed along the way.

This was always about people—the ones who believed, who showed up, who lifted us, and who helped carry this vision forward all the way to Valencia. Strangers became friends. Support became community. And we were reminded we were never walking alone.

It was the community—the girls, the g**s, the theys and the thems—who brought the heart and the joy, and who showed the power of many voices moving together.

As this chapter closes, we carry forward gratitude, connection, and belief in what’s still possible. We’re holding space for what’s next and for new ways to continue building love and community.

As we head into the holidays, may we slow down, be present, and enjoy the moments that matter most—with family, friends who feel like family, and everyone who brings light into our lives.

This journey mattered. And its impact will continue—through the people we met, the love we shared, and the hope we carry into the future.
