🌿 Self-Care Saturday 🌿

Watch the water.

It doesn’t rush to prove itself.
It doesn’t ask permission to move.
It doesn’t apologize for its power.

It flows around obstacles.
It keeps going.
It shapes the landscape over time.

That’s self-care too.

Not forcing.
Not fighting.
But choosing to keep moving in your own way.

Maybe today you don’t need to push harder.
Maybe you just need to flow.

Take one breath.
Drop your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw.

You’re allowed to be both powerful and peaceful.

🌱 Something felt both beautiful… and unsettling today.

While walking Kylo I spotted these flowers pushing up through the ground — bright color breaking through the winter brown.
My first reaction was pure joy.

Then I remembered… it’s February.

A mild Denver winter means sweatshirts instead of snow boots, longer walks, and little signs of spring.
And at the same time, it made me pause.

Sometimes two things can be true at once:
I can appreciate the beauty in front of me and be more aware of the world around me.

Today felt like a gentle reminder to stay grateful —
but also intentional.

So I’m asking myself:
What small choices can I make that care for the place I live?

🌙 Motivational Monday 🌙
Boundaries Are a Love Language.

Boundaries aren’t easy — but they are necessary.
They aren’t always comfortable — but they are freeing.
And they aren’t optional — they are a form of self-love and self-respect.

Boundaries teach people how to treat you.
They protect your time, your energy, your body, and your peace.
And they allow you to show up more fully — without resentment or burnout.

You’re allowed to set boundaries around:
✨ Your time
✨ Your emotional energy
✨ Your body
✨ Your availability
✨ Your values

Having boundaries doesn’t make you cold, difficult, or selfish.
It makes you clear.

✨ Quick check-in… how do your clothes make you feel? ✨

When you get dressed, do you feel:
🔥 strong
💫 confident
😍 sexy
🤍 comfortable in your own skin

Because what you wear isn’t “just clothes”… it’s energy.
It’s self-expression.
It’s a vibe.

And yes — we all have those days where the jammies are calling our name 😂
But on the days you do get dressed… what are you choosing to put on?

You don’t have to get dressed up every day…
but why not wear something that makes you feel GOOD, instead of just grabbing whatever is closest?

Try a few tiny upgrades:
💍 a little jewelry
💄 a swipe of mascara or lip gloss
🧥 your favorite jacket
👟 shoes that make you feel powerful

It doesn’t have to be much — just enough to remind you:
you’re worth the effort.

And if you’re bored with your closet or feel like you have “nothing to wear”?
✨ Change it up!
Go thrifting.
Host a clothing swap.
Get a fresh look for not much $$.

❄️ Ohhhh the things we do for love… 🐾💛

It has been so cold here in Denver lately.
Yes yes, I know it’s winter… but I am never emotionally prepared for it 😂🥶

The other night I was walking Kylo and I literally thought to myself:
“Oh the things I do for love.”

Kylo lives for her daily walks.
She doesn’t bark or demand… she just sweetly reminds me it’s time by:
🐶 hanging out in my office
🐶 staring at me like “bestie… it’s walk o’clock”
🐶 gently herding me toward the door

And honestly? She’s not wrong.
Love looks like showing up — even when it’s freezing outside.

But you know what else love looks like?

🌿 Healthy boundaries.

Because here are a few things I won’t do for love anymore:
✨ I won’t blindly give my time and energy just to keep the peace.
✨ I won’t say yes without checking in with myself first.
✨ I won’t do something just because everyone else is — if it doesn’t align with me.

And I haven’t always lived this way…
I used to people-please. I used to overgive. I used to ignore my own needs.

But I’ve been on a journey to trust myself more — and if you’re on that journey too, I promise:
you can get there.

✈️➡️🚤 My self-care this week required a passport.

🌿 Self-Care Saturday 🌿

This week, my self-care looked like a plane… then a boat… and a whole lot of sun + salt water therapy 🐠💙

After a hectic holiday season, my nervous system was begging for a reset — and the ocean always answers.
Being near the water is my happy place. It helps me slow down, breathe deeper, and come back home to myself.

Sun on my face ☀️
Breeze in my hair 🌬️
Floating, laughing, swimming with the fishes 🐟
And soaking up quality time with some truly amazing humans aboard 💫

This is your reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be fancy or rigid — it just has to fill you back up.
Sometimes it’s a quiet moment…
Sometimes it’s adventure…
And sometimes it’s saying yes to joy.

💖 Motivational Monday: Loving Your Body as It Is

Theme: Strong, Soft, Sacred

Your body is not a problem to fix.
It’s not something to earn love for—it’s something that already deserves your love. 🌷

Your body is your home. It carries your stories, your laughter, your memories, and your resilience. It’s been with you through every season of life—the good, the hard, the beautiful, and the messy.

So often, we’re taught to look at our bodies through a lens of criticism. We focus on what we want to change, hide, or “improve.” But what if instead, we shifted our focus to gratitude and reverence? What if, instead of saying “I’ll love my body when…,” we said, “I love my body now”?

🌺 Your Body is Strong

Even when it feels tired or sore, your body shows up for you every single day. It carries you through your work, your passions, your play. It heals, adapts, and protects you in ways we often overlook.

🌸 Your Body is Soft

Soft doesn’t mean weak. Soft is compassionate, nurturing, intuitive. It’s the way your heart expands when you laugh, the warmth in your hugs, the tears that fall when something moves you deeply.

🌼 Your Body is Sacred

It’s the vessel that allows you to experience this life—to feel the sun on your skin, to dance, to hold someone you love, to breathe in a moment of stillness.

This week, I invite you to speak to your body with the same kindness and gratitude you’d give to a dear friend.

Let this week be a gentle reminder: you don’t have to change to be lovable, valuable, or worthy. You already are. 💖

The fall season is nature’s gentle reminder that letting go can be beautiful. Just as trees shed their leaves, we too can release the habits, beliefs, or relationships that no longer nourish us.

Letting go isn’t failure—it’s an act of grace. It creates space for renewal, balance, and the growth that’s waiting on the other side.

• What is one thing you’re ready to release this season?
• What new energy or intention are you ready to welcome in?
