5/17, 2 - 330 pm Press Handstand Crash Course - prerequisite: must be able to kick into a handstand against a wall.
This workshop is designed to teach you the technique behind the most desired handstand skill…the Press Up Handstand (or the handstand deadlift). This skill is not only beautiful, its skill set will help with so many other tricks and movements on the ground and in the air. This skill will help with iron x, muscle ups, deadlifts, shoulder mounts and more. Learn exercises that will help you achieve the compression, flexibility and strength needed for the press.
5/31, 2 - 330 pm Baby Flips - prerequisite: must have a strong invert. "If you were once baby, you can do baby flips"
Get excited to learn some fun pole flips! Flips that are surprisingly safe and attainable! This workshop is a great introduction to flips as well as making your dismounts and tricks more dynamic. We will be breaking down low (basework) flips as well as flips up the pole. We will also cover conditioning exercises so the body is ready for even bigger flips down the road!
