Wiggly Pups Training

This post has been a few days coming. On Friday, March 17 we said goodbye to the original Wiggly Pup, Tweak.

She was a few months over 16 years old and had been showing signs of her crossing the finish line.

I’ve always had a multidimensional relationship with Tweak. She was the first dog I have ever owned in my entire life and for that she will always hold a special place in my heart. That said, she was an incredibly difficult dog, so much so that I learned enough about dog training to become a trainer! Thankfully she was a gifted trainer herself.
There are hundreds of dogs that would not be here if not for her guidance. Anxious, aggressive and otherwise imbalanced dogs that she helped show a better way through calm confidence and patience.
Though I have Ditto to carry on her teaching, helping dogs find their way, Tweak will never be replaced.
RIP you wiggly pup.

Happy Sixteenth birthday to my wild woman Tweak. She has been an incredible challenge and an incredible companion for a long time. For 12 years she was my right hand gal in behavioral modification, becoming the first friend to hundreds of formerly unfriendly pups. She now enjoys her pension, long naps and longer breaths, as well as a once a day play session with her brother Chewy.
To my original Wiggly Pup; happy birthday old lady. Your sustained grip on youth is nothing short of inspiring 🐶😅

Mr Geech turns 15 today! FIFTEEN!! Average life expectancy for a coonhound is 10-12 years, but this old man is breaking records… most of them in the “time spent asleep” category. He is a sweet, yet ornery dude who is living out all of our fantasies. Meals in bed and little involvement with the children
