Snow day! I think we got about 14-16” over the past 48 hours. This is why we have a rule here in the Colorado mountains: Don’t plant flowers until after Mother’s Day. 🌺 ⛄️

Winter finally arrived in Colorado, for which we are so thankful since we are experiencing drought and potential wildfire conditions this year. Dusty, our little chihuahua mix, sure loved playing in the snow today! He is so much fun! 🐾🥰 ⛄️

We are all happy dancing about this HUGE victory!

This is a BIG win for animals 🎉

Colorado has passed HB 26-1011, putting the state on track to become the 9th in the nation to end the sale of puppies and kittens in pet stores. This is a major step toward cutting off the puppy mill pipeline!

This victory is the result of years of hard work and advocacy, and it will protect both animals and consumers from the risks of retail pet sales.
Here in Texas, THLN has been fighting for this advancement for multiple legislative sessions. Wins like this are proof that progress is possible, and that momentum is building.

Texas, let’s be next. 🤘
