Sadly, due to the lack of PC pre-registrations, we are cancelling this Saturday's event. We would like to remind everyone about the importance of pre-registrations.
-It allows us to know if we have the interest to run events.
-It allows us to print out you character cards.
-It allows us to have your production completed.
-It allows you to talk to your Plot Marshal Face-to-Face if you have any concerns or to get resolutions.

We hope to see you next event, please remember to pre-register on Nero.World!

We are all headed up now! That being said there is an incredibly large of people on the highway, slowing us down. But we are getting up ASAP!

We have already begun processing some of our pre-registrations!

This is the last call for you to get your pre-registrations in!

If you DO NOT get in you pre-registration, you will have to play one of the 50 build characters we provide.
We will not be taking old character cards at the event as we will be printing off the new and updated ones. We cannot and will not be printing character cards up at site.
Please do not make the mistake of thinking you have pre-registered by telling one of our staff that you'll "totally make it."

We need you to physically pre-register at Nero.World so we can print our your card.

Nero Ascension’s August Full Weekend Event
Welcome everyone to the information document on Nero Ascension’s first full weekend event that will be held over August 18th to August 20th 2017.

We are also requesting people please sign up on Nero.World, if we do not have you signed up there, we will not be able to print out your character card, thus you must play a pre-made 50 build character at the event. So please sign up for the event at the links below.

Times:
You can come up to site at 3pm on Friday, August 18. We request that you are not up any earlier then that as we only have the site starting then.
Logistics: 8/18/17 at 4pm
Game Start: 8/18/17 at 5pm right after opening announcements (if you are not in game at this time, please put a white head band on to signify you are OOC/OOG and do not distract from others.)
Game End: 8/20/17 at 12pm
Off-site: 8/20/17 at 1pm (if you do not think you can get offsite in an hour, please plan accordingly as we will only have the site until 1pm.)

Information Given by Leaser:
• No RV water connections are available.
• This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us
• Off-road vehicle use is prohibited within campground
• Shooting, archery and fireworks are prohibited
• Extra parking is not available

• Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
• Drinking Water and Vault Toilets are accessible.

We also will not have any place to plug in fans, or heaters. Please plan accordingly.
Shelter:
This is a tent-camping event. This means you need to bring all the means necessary for you to be warm, dry and safe by means on tent (which means no RVs, pop-ups, etc). NERO Ascension will not be providing tents for this event.

Firewood and Dangers:
We do not know if Firewood will be allowed at this time. We will let you know at the opening announcements. Please plan food accordingly.
This is Bear Country. Please stash food accordingly to avoid a surprise in your tent that hits harder than a Goblin. If the cars are close enough, it might be a good idea to hide food within there. There is wild animals out here, please be careful.

What to Bring:
• Street clothes: cold, temperate and warm.
• LARP clothes: cold, temperate and warm.
• Tent
• Blankets and Pillows
• LARP Items
• Food: snack and food provisions (some food may be provided for, TBD)
• And any other supplies that fit within the rules that you find necessary.

The next event is less then a week away. The document with all the information for this weekend will be posted at the latest by Monday but I will put a brief information blurb at the end of this post!
We would like to encourage you to send your in between game actions to your plot Marshall as well as pre-register for our next even on NERO World by Wednesday, as if you have not pre-registered by then, we will not be able to print out your character card and you will be playing a 50 build generic character, we will also not be taking any in-between game actions after that as we will need to resolve them in those next days before the event.

Fire Restrictions will be known on the day of th event.

We have made changes, we will be doing away with Waymeets and rather starting New Player Orientations for first-function players! This will not only be easier on staff and players, but also not have the chaos of having to be two places in one day!

We will be making changed to the calendar soon to reflect this!
