What a special day with the UMass Soccer Alumni family, coming together to support our lifelong teammates in their battle against Yale. From the opening whistle, we absolutely dominated the game and created chance after chance—it truly felt like one we should have won. But beyond the result, what stood out most was the energy, effort, and heart this group played with. It gives me so much optimism for the season ahead. This team has all the pieces to do something special, and I can’t wait to follow their journey. Even more meaningful was seeing so many fellow alumni out there, showing love and support. Once a Minuteman, always a Minuteman. Let’s go UMass!

2024 Men's Soccer Schedule - University of Massachusetts Athletics The official 2024 Men's Soccer schedule for the University of Massachusetts Minutemen and Minutewomen

Today is and in spite of the fewest scholarships offered (by far) in the Division I Men’s Tournament, our UMass Men's Soccer program is making a push for our second-ever appearance in the and our first-ever national championship.

As a few of you may know, when I coached our teams were not budgeted for a postseason run of any kind. Our budget dollars essentially ran out at the final whistle of our final regular season game, and any postseason success, while thrilling, got really expensive in a hurry. In essence, the more we won, the more expensive it got.

I am asking my friends here on Facebook to consider making a gift today to my alma mater in support of this exciting journey, and in honor of those who do more with less.
